I was thinking for maybe $10 more a month you could have access to read, but not own, these titles.Interesting ideas. I was going to say, in theory, you could buy the digital version of a book each month until you are caught up... but then I did the math. That would be 33 months (just for books, not counting doujins)!

That's the general guideline, but I'm sure there are examples where this isn't followed. One big factor is the large amount of tags one has to take into consideration for each release. I have some ideas on how to improve/revamp the tagging system, but they're just ideas at this point in time. Thanks for the response, always appreciate the insight into the Fakku processes. Is there a place/process where we can suggest a 'forced' tag be added, if we find a story that seems to be missing it (or any tag really)? I usually make a comment, but going back through stories and checking every comment doesn't seem like it would be efficient.
There are alot of tags, so I can understand them being missed. That is why I would love to see the Fakku community to be able to help with tagging.
I look forard to any improvements to tagging!

Anyone else excited for Your Name dvd/bd release? The japanese editions just came out this week, supposedly US editions from Funimation will be out by end of 2017, but I had a very hard time tracking down any info about it.

Yotsuba! Vol 1-13: 9.5/10 Great slice of life manga that really shows Japanese culture, vs just explaining it. Lots of fun characters.

...Or E-Musu Aki? Or Koume Keito? Or Shindol? Or Saitom? Of course more Bosshi or MEME50 would be welcome too. Pretty much any of the artists. And the more explicit the better! That is a pretty good list!

That is a great cover! Would love to see it in an art book.

I appreciate the background information on Japanese culture, but I think this is an over simplification of it, judging by how consent is handled in the stories on Fakku. I think Fakku has to make a decision on which cultural orientation it will follow, in regards to tagging. I would say that the majority of Fakku readers are Western and so it makes sense to tag according to those ideas.
I have read tens of hundreds of stories over the last year+ and I have to say I have seen maybe a handful of 'vanilla' tagged stories that should have the forced tag (imo), so I strongly disagree that a change in the consent definition will alter many stories at all. In fact, I would argue that those stories were incorrectly tagged vanilla.
The tagging on Fakku is fairly inconsistant at best. As a reader, it is clear that there are no guidelines or definitions of tags, to guide editors in their tagging. I have seen this on stories where the editor will talk with readers as to why a tag is in/appropriate, or for example on the latest Fakku book, Let Your Smile Bloom 3.
In that chapter, the female character is literally tied up and forced to have sex. On page 20, she is actively yelling 'no' and 'stop'. Yet there is no 'forced' tag. At that point, why bother with the tag? I have yet to see a chapter that is tagged 'forced' to be that explicit in a character's refusal of sex.
Active consent is a great thing and there are many stories on Fakku with that (maybe a tag?). There are also stories that have the character saying no, but thinking or otherwise indicating consent. I agree, those can be tough to tag and make everyone happy. In that scenario, I personally wouldn't tag it as forced, since we as the omnipent viewer can see that it is consensual, even though from the other character's point of view, it could be rape.
I think a difficult point is that in porn, there will be lines that are used by actual rapists, such as "I can't stop myself" or the "your body is honest" (which I personally hate). I think in some ways, this is unavoidable because a person in a consentual encounter can say something that a rapist would also say. Just in the last week, I have seen stories where both people give consent, and yet the MC will say he "can't hold back". That phrase alone can't qualify a story as 'forced' or not.
I am not here to judge people's fantasy or try to impose real world legality on contectual stories. However, accurate, consistant tagging is in everybody's interest. From those who want to read it, to those that want to avoid it, to those that are tagging other stories and need examples.

Love the art, glad to see a variety of genres! But man, after reading the stories, the only one I could stomach is the bouginville... Hope to see some non-NTR work published later!I mean although Let Your Smile Bloom has NTR elements the actual story is not NTR.
As for Non-NTR Books out of the 40 books FAKKU has published and including the 6 books that are on deck for release only Ima Real can be classified as an NTR book others like Retsujou Mixture have some NTR but can't be called NTR books...at least not for People looking for NTR to read.
Good point, I was rather lazy with my callout of NTR. For me, the use of force in several of the Let Your Smile Bloom was just too much. I apprecate the correction/info!

Or even a custom collection if people don't want to put it in their read-later set.

... but it should have very little impact on the experience overall...I agree with the two versions being confusing (I have two of the same in my favorites that I just noticed, for an older book). I also can see having a book incentive. However, for the past couple books, I did find it useful to be able to see some of the chapters as a preview, to determine if it fit my tastes.
So, as long as those chapters are not removed immediatly (maybe after the book is shipped or made avail for download), I support this plan.

Searching seems to be differnt now. I tried searching for "mother" (don't judge) and got "no results returned" even though I know there are several stories with mother in the titile (per the suggestion list that pops up).

Heh, you can't file a complaint with the Digital Millinium Copyright Act. It isn't an organization like the FTC. But I don't think that is the point really.
Everyone is doing a great job of defending Fakku, but Trolls are just gonna Troll.

I think people have already given alot of great advice, but my 3 cents is this:
1. If you want to talk with a professional, try another therapist. There are good and bad ones out there. I know it sucks when you just want help, and it can be daunting to take that first step, but do some googling on how to identify a good therapist, or rather, a therapist that would be good for you. Everyone is different.
2. Consider looking for things you can volunteer for, maybe on your off days. I volunteer at a place that packages up food to send to food shelves. I meet people and can interact at my own pace. Sometimes I am chatty, sometimes not. Find something that you feel is a good cause.
3. This is the easiest and I hope most useful. Get more sleep. If you are staying up until 1-2 everynight and getting up at 8 for a 9am shift, you are getting between 6-7 hours of sleep. I know everyone is different, but there is research out there about what long term sleep deprivation can do you someone (ya, even shorting an hour or two). For my experience, sleep is a big factor in feeling 'normal'.
Take care of yourself and good luck!

Plus, as noted in another thread, the technology used by Fakku to avoid having contents just downloaded and redistributed is actually working in your favor for privacy.
1. You have an ssl connection (https) which means that you have a base level of encryption on the content between you and Fakku servers, so to the 'men in the middle' you content is scrambled.
2. Try right clicking and saving a page in a story sometime. You'll see that what you consider a page is actually many 'tiles' that are assembled by the javascript on your browser. I would say this helps disguise/confuse exactly what you are viewing when looking through your browser cache.
3. The content you view is not of actual people. In some contries, this makes a difference. For exampe, in the US depeictions of non-real children are not yet considered child pornography. However, that is cold comfort if you are charged with CP. Because they can charge you with anything, leaving you to publicly defend yourself, outing you to your employer and family. There is a Comic Book Defense League story about a guy coming into the US with tanks, some of which could be construed as CP (loli) and so they held him and threated to try him for CP. The guy cut a deal to somethingn minor, but if I remeber correctly, he is registered sex offender now (part of the "deal"). Because he didn't want to go to court over CP charges, even though he most certainly would have won.
If you are worried, I would recomend using Chrome in Incognito mode. This ensures a minimuim amount of data is being store on your local machine.

For some reason bbcode isn't working in the comments (see https://www.fakku.net/hentai/honey-pot-style-english#8270723, user Smuggins). Am I doing it wrong or is there an issue with the forums? I see other users doing links, so I wasn't sure. For comments you have to sue HTML
To link
<a href="https://www.fakku.net/">FAKKU!</a>
Awesome, that is cool. I gave it a try, but it just escapes the HTML, so it shows the the html literally :(
Edit: seems to only be an issue if you edit a comment, then it escapes everything. But I was able to copy and paste it into a new comment and it worked.

This was definetly the most intriguing H book I have ever read.I was originally turned off by the art style, so I skipped this one, but now I am curious...
Always glad to see a diversity of H offerings though.
The art style is reminiscent of old school manga art, if you haven't read stuff like JoJo Fist of the North Star Urotsukidoji, etc. people may just class it up to "bad" art however for the time it was God's work.
Ya, I have heard of it, but the earliest stuff I have really read is Ranma 1/2 :)
