A lottery? Email notifications? Keep it simple a date and time is all we need.Well, if you would read the comments on here you would know, that does not work for everyone. It may work for you, but not for myself and others.
One of the cool things about Fakku is that it is a community of people. The Fakku community is diverse and I think worth listening to. I hope one day you'll feel the same.

Can we stop giveing suggestions?I think the point of the forums is so that we can all express our opinions. Is there a reason that is harming you?

Good news! We set aside a small number of physical MEME50 Box sets for users that couldn't make it to Anime Expo. Those will be made available on the store at a scheduled time sometime in the future (we'll post in this thread when we have made that decision).Would love to see some sort of lottery system for these exclusives. I (and others) just never seems to be online or around when the items are live on the store.

Any preview pics? Looking forward to this.Wani doesn't release preview pictures until about 3-5 days before the book releases in Japan.
So next month sometime around the 3rd maybe 4th week of August we should have some preview pictures.
Thanks for info!

Issue with links on notifications:
I received a notification "You received blah on your comment on blah". When I follow the link for "your comment":
https://www.fakku.net/manga/stick-it-in-here-english#18620
I am taken to the correct story, but it does not jump down to the anchor (I am assuming each comment has an anchor tag).

I like the 'anti-follow' idea.
It would be interesting also to maybe make it so if a chapter has a 'dislike' tag, you don't get notified (regardless of other tags). Or maybe it doesn't even show on the main page?

Or, could the comments at least be sorted chronologically in ascending order?

R18.com published it. They're part of DMM.com and is basically an English version of their main site...Looks like no physical editions, just digital?
@Jacob Always glad to get more info, regardless of the news.
Man, just realized that 11 books is like $242 I'll probably be spending this year!

Just noticed I can follow tags now (or could I before and never even noticed?)!
Since some chapters have many tags, I think sorting tags so that 'followed tags' (green) sort to the front of the tag list (thereby showing on the main Fakku scroll) would be a good UX feature. Otherwise, the user is going into every story anyway, just to see if their followed tags appear in green.

Mind Break and Mind Control are typically different things.Ya, I agree. I think this chapter is a good example of Mind Control (hypnosis) without being mind break:

But as someone who isn't into either tag, I would defer to the experts.

Depends on the bank but i haven't see one without a debt card with a visa or mastercard symbol that wasn't a savings account.Interesting. I bank through a local Credit Union and only have checking. They always give me a debit card without even asking. I have to pay extra for the checks!
I am old, so I like old things :)

I guess it relative, I mean I see 100-200 tags a small number of threads :) Most forums can handle many thousands of topics/posts. I was thinking it would be in specific 'Tags' forum that would be locked to normal posting.
It might take some coding, depending on the forum software (I can't see the source code on my tablet), but if it is off the shelf, most bb systems have hooks for that type of stuff. But if it is home rolled, it might be 40-80 hours to do. It is all how the tags are inserted into the tag table and then altering how they are used. It might even be easier to have a tag suggestion table that eventually writes to the main tag table when a tag is 'approved'.
After commenting on almost 100 chapters, from what I have seen, I think the people who read (subscribers) already take on the prospect of checking for correct tagging. One theory is that there are three categories of internet users: lurkers, commenters, and creators. These show different levels of engagement. If even lurkers are willing to take ownership of a favorite tag and look for applications, then the community should be capable of keeping chapters tagged without any incentives.

I have a suggestion for tagging stories:
I suggest this as a way to do several things:
1. Take the burden of tagging off of the editors, though they can of course mark initial tags with 1 vote.
2. Allow the community to take ownership of tags and what they mean (see recent discussions of NTR tag on a Cheating story). A Tag Forum Topic allows the community to decide what a tag will mean.
3. Ensure better tagging of chapters, as many eyes will be looking over the tags, and relieve Fakku staff from having to monitor chapters to check for tag suggestions.
- Users can suggest a tag or endorse an existing one (no down votes)
- Tags on a story are not shown until they receive at least 10 votes. Only 'shown' tags count for searching or showing chapters by tag
- When a tag is created, a corresponding forum topic is created(In a tag forum), where the creator can explain the intent and how the tag might be different than other tags.
- When adding/voting on tags, a user can see all submitted tags, whether they have the required votes to be shown
