Yes it worth the watch. If you like shit like perfect blue or Paranoia agent in storyline with the sprinkling of blood, batshit girls and some crazy blind man ripping a terrorist's eye out.

I would say the main thing is nobody would purposely call themselves a geek in front of people unless they're harboring for attention or someone confronted them about their obsession for something. That's probably the main way to tell if someone actually is like that.
It's like people who call themselves otaku. If you call yourself an otaku, chances are you are just a weeaboo.

This is pretty much where I stand with this now, the drama is way too forced and it isnt really fun to watch anymore, the characters are still cute though.
