Yeah, I saw it there in the booth, though I have that on order from Amazon for less so I held off.

Awesome, I got one at AX signed by MEME50 and a free digital add on with it would be much appreciated. Will you post this info on the front page when the time comes?

I was at AX this weekend and stopped by the Project-H booth. They had some pretty good deals in there and they only got better by the day, with what stock remained of course.

Surprisingly, they had the Kickstarter edition (one with dust jacket and slightly higher quality pages) of Vanilla Essence (Yamatogawa) in their booth, which I got for only $15. I was also able to get Ane-Koi Elder Sister Love (Yuzuki N') for the same price that day. The paper quality on both of those are great and worth the price.

I got Girl's Shock (Inu) as well for $15, though that has a bit more newspaper-y feeling paper. Pages are a slightly gray-ish white and have a slight gritty texture compared to the smooth ones of the other two. I was hoping to find another Yuzuki N' book, One Kore Sweet Sister Selection, but sadly they were either out of stock by the time I got to the booth on day 2 or had no stock for it at AX.

On day 4 I noticed they had a special of $10 for all books and if you bought 5 you got one more free, but I had already got the main books I was looking for and did not want to add any more weight to my luggage by that point to check anything they had left out lol.

How much is the MEME50 box going to cost? Will you take credit/debit or just cash?

Will it only be sold in the FAKKU booth (1411) or other locations at AX, like the MEME50 Q&A panel?

I see we need an 18+ wristband to attend the FAKKU panels, but do we also need to have the 18+ wristband to get into the FAKKU booth in the exhibit hall or just an ID?

Wow, pretty hyped to get to meet MEME50 and about the doujin box. Hopefully the FAKKU panel is on a day and time I'm free to attend, too.

I'd also really love to see this if they can get it uncensored... even if it is just a one off as far as games are concerned. I love this series. Though, I hear Lillith is one of the harder ones to ink a deal with.

FAKKU already puts out a good amount of manga, and I'm not sure they could even handle doing much more at this point in time from a human resource perspective. I'm already very happy with the current pace on the manga front. The only thing I'd like to see improve here as of now is some more darker content being released. Vanilla is nice and all, but I need me some mindbreak and NTR done well like with ShindoL. Also, more monster girls are never a bad thing and I'm dying for a full tankoubon with them.

FAKKU also has increased the pace in getting doujins up for sale and I think the current pace and selection is pretty good. The only thing I'd like to see as far a doujins are concerned is physical English copies becoming more routine. Of course, getting some more artists' work would also be nice.

Games could be interesting, but considering there already exists the likes of Mangagamer, JAST, Denpasoft, Sekai Project, and so on it would probably be limited to more indie stuff. My game backlog is already too big, so this would probably not interest me too much but could be a nice platform for the indie game developers, especially eroge and nukige ones, nonetheless.

Now videos really has peaked my interest. As it stands, almost no ero anime content has been licensed in North America since something like 2009, save for a handful of titles from Soft Cell the last couple months. Moreover, all of the streaming for ero anime is currently only accessible from dark side sites where the content creators and license holders don't get any of the action. While there's pay per view offered by like Critical Mass, Kitty, and ASM for the older stuff, that's a pretty outdated model and does not include anything from recent years. Not to mention, at PPV pricing you may as well buy the DVDs anyhow.

Given how frequently I seek out new ero anime releases, I voted videos because I'm dying for a legal site to watch ero anime UNCENSORED and in HD. It would be awesome if we could get this stuff uncensored in a "simulcast" type fashion legally. I would gladly pay something like $10 to $20 a month for this privilege. If FAKKU could make this happen somehow, similar to how Crunchyroll does subscriptions for videos, I'd be super stoked. A download to own option would be nice as well, if uncensored, but if I had to choose between that and streaming, I'd choose streaming because it has the better value for the money in the amount of content I can view in a given time. Now I'm dreaming of a FAKKU ero video service and how awesome that could be...

Well, I got another order in the other day and I think I found some new favorite FAKKU books.

Now I have 20 of 37 full FAKKU books, so just a bit more than half. I've yet to read all of them, so my impressions and rankings of some may change as I get to more later.

I think these are my top picks thus far:

1. Metamorphosis - The story is a damn masterpiece. I had a serious gut punch sinking feeling for a few days after finishing and it seriously made me reflect on life. I never thought an ero manga would be this profound. While it may be hard to bear at times, it is so wonderfully illustrated and the main girl is so well portrayed, it is hard to look away. I really want FAKKU to pick up more ShindoL works, as this was just so good IMHO. This is an example of when ero is more for the story than the fap, though the art is really nice and fapable out of context for sure.

2. Ima♡Real - I find NTR and mind break stuff very exciting when done right, and this does it very well. Only downside for me was it ended a bit abruptly after the transformation. I would have liked to see a couple more chapters at least after and maybe the main guy get a happy end, too. I've also really liked Takeda Hiromitsu's character designs since I first saw Maken-ki. There's just something about them that I find really alluring and sexy. I hear Sister Breeder is really good as well and hope FAKKU makes that a reality someday too...

Because these first two are a bit darker in nature I should note, though I probably find less vanilla stuff more arousing in general, I loathe forced situations where the girl is not into it for a long time, if ever, and is straight up being raped and crying or deadpan repeatedly. After looking more into The Job of a Service Committee Member, I realized it was a bit too much into the sad and depressing side of forced and thus it has fallen a bit on my priority list. In general, a gal has got to be into it and realizing her slutty nature or mind broken soon after the forced situation is introduced for me to like a forced story. Otherwise, it is just watching someone be tortured and that is a huge turn off to me. The Taimanin Asagi series is an example of when forced is done right for me. Asagi and friends are broken and get into it and they enjoy the more extreme situations. If there is no enjoyment happening after a point it is just too sad and depressing and not at all sexy. I only like mind break when the girl realizes her inner slut through it and then willingly lets loose from there. Same for a forced femdom story, if the guy is not into the submissive play after an initial forced situation makes him realize he likes it, then I also can't stomach that. Basically, though a story is darker in nature I prefer it be more sex positive and not meander long in the negative territory. Some initial resistance is good to set the contrast between the before and after, but if it stays there long I'm likely out.

3. Heat Alert - Holy shit... the character designs in this are sexy af and really got me going the first time I read it. I had to reread it immediately after it was so good. If a story lacks darker elements, this is exactly the type of thing that makes up for that and blows me away from a more vanilla side of things. The mother daughter chapter in this is perhaps one of, if not my most, favorite chapters on the site as of now. It captures the perfect blend of sexy and cute for me. I'm a fan of more mature and curvaceous women and this was right in my sweet zone for that. The story, though simple, also added a fun and playful nature that made this one really shine to me. MEME50 just keeps on getting better with each new release IMHO.

4. Meaty Minxes - I actually had wrote this one off at first glance of the cover, as the girl has comically huge tits like double the size of her head lol. But, I'm glad I went back to this because it quickly became a favorite of mine after I read all the chapters. The style is not for everyone, but if you are a fan of curves and booty, like me, then this is among the best FAKKU has to offer atm. I really like doggy style and pussy spreading and this has some great scenes with it as well. BoBoBo's recent chapters on FAKKU have also really caught my attention and I've become a fan.

5. Let Loose with Lewd Boobs! - Mojarin captures a perfect balance between sexy and cute I find as well. I love her perspective used in a lot of panels and how well she captures all the anatomy on both sexes. The playful and fun nature of many of her chapters works really well with the very sex positive and animalistic gals. They really know how to let loose and embrace their wild side! This is another example of how a book doesn't need to have darker elements for me to really enjoy it. The key is making an erotic story with artwork that strikes my fancy and characters enjoying themselves.

6. Non Virgin - Full color and gorgeous mature and full bodied babes makes this a top ten for me for sure. I found the stories a bit hit or miss but overall it has some really sexy and beautiful women in it that makes it special coupled with being full color.

If you can't tell by now, I prefer my gals have a bit more meat on their bones haha. I'm not the biggest fan of more slim and teen, or loli, looking girls in these things unless they have a sexy way about them/personality to match the visuals.

7. Let's Do It - Though the girls are a bit more on the slender teen side of things overall in terms of design and mannerisms, I find the style of the art really appealing and the poses in many panels great as well. I mentioned pussy spreading before and this has some really great views in that regard.

Looking at the rest I currently own, I like them all about the same so it is hard to rank any further as they are pretty interchangeable to me from here on out. In a lot of cases they have a chapter or more that stand out to me in some way but overall lack a significant amount of content that wows me, though is still nice nonetheless.

I prefer that tankoubons have longer cohesive stories to them when possible, and that is part of why my top two are as high as they are. There's nothing worse than feeling teased after a really great chapter as you find it ends abruptly, so I appreciate when a story line I really like continues beyond just one chapter... I suspect a few others here feel the same way lol.

At any rate, that's how I'm feeling about my FAKKU books purchases thus far and figured I'd share some to let you all know since you were kind enough to help me out before. Also, everyone please feel free to share what you like about your favorite releases and why. I like reading opinions about what makes a work stand out to others and sometimes I find aspects I overlooked in retrospect then.

Though the shipping selection was bugged again and only gave me priority as an option. Will try contacting support to see if that can be switched to first class or media mail, which are at least half the cost.

EDIT: Ben took care of the shipping issue for me and said the glitch should be fixed now. Looks like there are still some signed copies up for grabs as of now as well, in case anyone else is still interested in them.

Dang, more disappointing news. I saw your other thread about their state of affairs at the moment and this just sucks. Thanks for letting us know about these releases at least. I hope FAKKU can license rescue some of their stuff if they ever go under, or at least gain a contract with some of the artists that seem to be exclusive with them at the moment.

I should also note, their digital files are still shit for everything I have besides the Mizuryuland doujins and Deep Stalker. Either they did not have the better assets or they couldn't be fucked to upgrade them since I last contacted them... back when Rebecca was still there. It really sucks for Yamatogawa to be in such a low resolution as x1200. Their Twitter has also been pretty dead the past few weeks, so getting a hold of them is becoming increasingly difficult.

Thanks for the heads up about Project-H and Rebecca B no longer being on board, Smuggins. I figured something was up when their twitter went pretty silent in the past few weeks as well. Between that and the reversion to the old, lower quality, paper, things are not looking too good for them as of now. Thankfully FAKKU seems to be doing swimmingly at the moment and continues to put out high quality print releases, in addition to the growing number of sub chapters on the site.

I'm not sure if anyone mentioned this yet, but there is no longer the time of posting above new chapters being added on the main page. I found the "posted xx minutes/hours/days ago" very convenient to reference for where I last read a new chapter. Please add this back in some capacity.

Nice. I can't wait to finally own the print book of this masterpiece! I'd love if FAKKU got more Shindo L tanks later, too. Have this in a order with Non Virgin and Let Loose with Lewd Boobs, so I'll be waiting for this to ship until those are stocked; hopefully soon as well.

I like having both since nothing beats actually owning a physical copy you can hold, but having the convenience of digital on the go is also very nice. FAKKU's digital quality is also really outstanding and worth the money if you like the work enough. If it is one or the other, then I'd prefer spending money on physical and I will dark side for digital if I want the added convenience.

Dang, that was fast, haha. The x2400 is the vertical resolution I'm looking for, thank you. The majority of their stuff is in x1200 resolution, which is half of the quality you see with this. What file format did you get? PDF, EPUB, MOBI, PRC, or CBZ?
