Oh, I didn't choose support role. I just went with it because it was the only role available. Kayle is the only champion I played before that could support so it just ended up that way.
Her utility and harass make her pretty good in the support role. Though I would prefer to play her in the mid or top lane as that's what I'm most accustomed to. But it's nice to know that I am capable of the support role if I need to.
Just probably not something I want to do on a regular basis.
On another note I'm thinking of trying out Kha'Zix. He looks like a champion I wouldn't mind playing after careful consideration.

Soo. Me and 3 of my friends went into a game with the sole point of rushing mogs against the enemy team.
The random was Vayne.
At the end, three of us were fighting Baron. And we were healing faster than he could damage.
Oh and Vayne was top.

Diana is a good role for Top or Mid.
Though probably the champ that is really coming out as being a strong top right now is Elise.
Nidalee is also a good choice for top or mid.
I never liked playing Anivia, she's too much of a turtling champion.

There really is little point in going offensive tree Darius, especially since he cannot gain benefits from Executioner applied to his ultimate. It pains my brain every time I Lolking the top lane Darius I'm jungling for, and he's offensive masteries.
Also, Wriggle's is absolute garbage the way it currently is. They need a serious overhaul on it as I;

B) Know for a fact, 2x Doran's Blades > Wriggles in terms of both cost & effectiveness of the item.
I think people just assume that Darius is tanky so they go with offensive trees thinking they'd get early game advantage from it.
Except he's not that overly tanky. He can be built pretty tanky given his abilities. But he's not overly tanky statswise.

I'm getting too rusty at SR by playing too much TT. My first ranked game back and I did badly the first half.
Thankfully I kept my farm up and made a good come back.
Annoying Olaf though. Whined I was never in team fights because once I wouldn't make it in time to make a difference so I instead pushed top to the turret and got the inner one.

Loving Nasus right now. With his Siphoning Strike killing minions for gold just gets easier and easier. His wither skill just lets me bully whoever gets too far from their tower, and if its max lvl the quick cool down is icing on the already delicious cake. Got him to lvl 18 and the other team just couldn't come back. Nasus is great, if you can get farmed.
the problem is that hes very farm reliant, but since he doesn't have a gap closer (not to mention his W is hard-countered by tenacity) and doesn't do much damage outside his Q. hes very easy to shut down becuase he can't trade well at all.
i dunno if im just not good with him, but whenver i play him i usually have trouble.
Anyone worth their salt top lane would focus on making sure Nasus finds it difficult to free farm when up against him.

2) Map awareness. If a person is away from the lane for a long time he/she will go to other lane(s) to kill someone(=gank). Most common places for gank(s) are the bushes on the river next to the lanes.
3) IP+RP purchases (Runes/Masteries/Champions). Don't bother with runes below lvl 23. Just save IP around 20k so you can buy two full runepages of tier 3 runes when you ding 23. For masteries just do them at champ select, if you are not 30. If you pick a champ that does dmg go for the offense tree, if you pick a tank go for the defense tree, etc. As for champions I always play a champion when he/she is free and then purchase him/her.
I actually play Ashe for ADC and Soraka for support. I'm still doing vs AI when I'm playing alone to practice and normal games when my friends goes online to team.
I find it easier to play support Soraka. Astral Blessing/Infuse really helps ADC that I support in the bot lane. Starcall when I want to get gold (timing it so it last hit multiple minions) Wish is just amazing especially when my team is going for game, being able to heal all teammate at the right time is game changing.
I usually get 14-19 assist playing Soraka, but I'm still struggling picking the right item. I tend to but the cool down reduction items, idk if that's the right way or not.
For Ashe I still need to practice what you said about map awareness since multiple times I got ganked since I was only paying attention to the champ I was trying to kill.
Thanks for the advice, I'll practice a bit more in vs AI to get my timing and map awareness up.
As a support you should be buying wards if you haven't been already. The more vision you have the better as it'll help to see their plays in advance.

Darius is a one-size fits all champion, with one of the best comeback factors. When I play Darius(Both in-lane AND in the jungle) I ALWAYS buy Spirit of the elder lizard because, frankly it's probably one of the best and most broken items on him. He causes you to bleed static amounts of true damage, and magic damage? The CDR is just icing.
He's also a jungle bully, if I ever see Amumu, Cho, Vi, or basically any jungler with a very early game, I tend to make a second home out of their jungle. Obviously you don't want to do this against Cho after level 6, or Lee Sin. You don't invade Lee's jungle.
The trade-off with Darius is that he's absolute garbage in a team fight, his initiate is below average, and his presence isn't known like the junglers I listed exception of Vi.
Also if you're playing Darius, 9/21/0, and MS quints are your best friend. I've played Darius on the offensive tree and frankly it isn't worth it, you're better off with defensive masteries. I never understand why people use offensive masteries with Darius.
