For something as minor as purchasing a computer, which would generally cost you no more than a little over $1000, I would not recommend doing a payment plan. I'd advise that you gather the funds required for purchase and just pay for it on the spot.

Motherboards are a market-based commodity. There is no such thing "latest" confined to motherboards, it is entirely dependent on the current generation of core components - e.g. the CPU, RAM, and graphics adapters. The compatibility of these with the motherboard is determined by the architecture of board itself - the main being the north and south bridges and the CPU die.
