I dunno Space, that's some pretty heavy math you're asking for there.

I might have an Incoherent confession to make.

Anyone wearing a horsehead mask is now automatically Jacob, because he's the only one who could ever conceivably do that, right?

Also, the McDonald's near me got the wrecking ball, so I couldn't even go if I wanted.

Having to turn up the volume so that the other game noises are absurdly loud in order to hear an alleged "turn end" sound is not what I would refer to as a "feature".

You'd probably get a better response if you asked in Incoherent Babbling.

I see... Even then, I still Alt+Tab. The game gives a little sound for when it's your turn. >_<In Civilization IV, it did. As far as I can tell in Civilization V, the sound is either very soft or non-existent.

I'm not sure we have a large enough forum community.

Maybe. It's an RTS with a lot involved, so it's a given.... And I like to Alt+Tab and go around looking at forums or reading manga.I wasn't referring to the wait for others to finish their turns; I was speaking of the wait while the game sets up the new turn -- about 5-10 seconds, easily.

Really? It works fine for me. Of course, I tend to play smaller games of around only 6 players and some AI.You must be much more patient than we are, then. The "Please Wait" in between turns takes a good 5-10 seconds.

Mod Note: Moved to the Random section.I received a report indicating that this thread might be more suitable for Incoherent Babbling, but after some consideration, I reckoned Random will suffice for now. After all, it is a piece of news, assuming it is legitimate.
If said news is fake, then this thread definitely belongs to IB.
Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
News threads are generally consistent of merely the article and one line from the OP. I would not consider 1 or 2 sentences a suitable contribution. In this case, not even the article was included.

Oh goody, another non-Serious Discussion thread.
The man's death is unfortunate, although before I allow my latent distaste for Segways to chalk this up to a problem with the machine's construction, I must first consider several things. Now, as a wheeled device, it is prone to jarring and tipping on uneven ground. Judging from the site of death, this fellow may have well been taking his precious Segway for an off-roading excursion, and perhaps an unusually large rock or pit upset the movement of his Segway, leading to the plunge which resulted in his death. However, if we speculate that he was performing this excursion in the evening, perhaps the ambient lighting was not sufficient enough for him to properly gauge and avoid the cliff's edge within time. Or perhaps there was a mechanical error, and much like Toyota vehicles, the Segway unexpectedly sped up -- much to the chagrin of its operator. Maybe a wheel fell off, tipping man and machine sideways, sending them careening off the cliff. Of course, suicide is also plausible.
This, however, does not alter the fact that Segways were designed to be accessible to pedestrian-specific areas, causing displacement much similar to that by bicycles and skateboards, only actually irritating because the operator is not powering their own movement. A discussion with others of normally agreeable dispositions reveals that a minor desire to impede movement of a person with a Segway is generally present. Which, of course, is my last conjecture of this tragedy's cause.
