okay....i would like to scratch my last statement about entering G rank.

you can just go through all the gathering hall quests to get there and G rank's hall is at the top of dondoruma.

but the other downside is you won't be able to get any greater lifepowder,healing smoke and portable earplug that you can buy by trading some points in dondoruma village's anti dragon virus research since you'll need to do their npc quest.

back in 3U,it's just for the farm so you can skip it.
but in 4,it became essential to do it if you want to have some Nargacuga,Ceadeus,Diablos,Ukanlos,etc parts early before hunting them/the only option is to trade them.

and here i am.

i'm playing Monhan 4G by converting my data from Monhan 4 so all of my items are transferred along my character.

i'm HR 315 right now and from what i've seen,players who have played monhan 4 and finished the storyline will immediately jumped to Dondoruma,the Online city from Monhan 2/Dos to rebuilt the city's defenses. you'll need to do all the NPC's quest before you can get into the G Rank Guild Hall that's located at the top of the village where the Giant Village Elder resides in his place.
also,only in that guild hall we can do episodic Yukumo & Moga village quests. some normal and some DLC.

but since Monhan 4U will put us from Zero,i'm guessing we'll start from Monhan 4's storyline 1st then we can get into the 4G/U's story.

i know most of us just want to jump to the Guild Hall's online quest asap but i suggest to do most of the villages quest 1st because most of the cooking skill,felyne otomo and material exchange (Nargacuga,Diablos,Ceadeus,Alatreon,Chameleos,etc) quest are only available in the villages. and it's a good start to get those materials before we can hunt some of them in 4G/U's storyline.

right now i'm still in the 3rd act of Dondoruma's quest where Serogiasu or "Steve" is keep invading the quests we're doing. at first,i saw Steve as a big rooster like Wyvern but as long as i keep getting damages from Steve's exploding scales,i can get a Bleeding status and it's annoying as fuck.
each time you run and attacking,you'll lose 2-5% of your health and it's effect is roughly 5 minutes after you got it. imagine that when you're low on health and you're hunting Steve in G rank.urgh...

that's all i can say for now besides the fact that Ukanlos totally OWNS my ass because it keeps jumping like a puppy on me and i wasn't prepared for it in the bormal Online guild hall.
i'll give more information in the later process.
