Only Reimu and Marisa thus far. Its going to take a while to do 7 story mode playthroughs.
I take it as she really does have a story mode then. Do you have any plan to finish all of them? I would do it myself just to see Hata no Kokoro if my social links weren't this messed up.
Speaking of which, don't you think Mamizou is like a shout-out to Yukari in SWR? Her spellcards in the story mode imply that she has learned a lot of art-gaping skill from the true master. Instead of using trains however, she used her fellow tanuki to knock down the enemy if I recall correctly.
I spent my days building my messed up social links and then I found out that Heat went steamroller on Pacers. Not a very pleasant conclusion to me, but oh well.
In any case, has anybody cleared HM? As in, all characters cleared.
Hata no Kokoro kinda intrigues me, so it would be nice for her to be served her own story mode, which I am yet to see since I have only cleared Reimu. I'm wondering whether she really has a story mode or not.

Difficult? I changed my avi 3 times in a day and I've never encountered any issue.
What's the problem?
Read all about it here.
Very well then. Happy birthday, Zandwarf.
I know you know that I'm not a connoisseur in kind words. So let's just go with, stay beautiful and frosty.
Birthday is there for you to celebrate. Here is a wish for you to have a good one.
Now hold your horse for the gift (the usual) while I'm watching the recap of Heat vs Pacers.

Denial is the first step towards acceptance.Mmmm, not off the top of my head. I'll look through some stuff and see it's similar to anything.
Silly Moko-tan, denial is the first step towards another denial.
Please do let me know if you find the artist's name. At first, I thought their eyes' shape resemble Nakatani's. However, this cover art proved me wrong in an instant.

Thanks to feng shui and distinct inking style, I managed to find out that the artist's name is Tsubameyado. Check his gallery out, some of them might tickle your fancy.

Silly me. I just noticed that his name was listed in the ending sequence.
If only I could tell that it was referring to the artist, life would be easier.

Oh my, but it takes one with delusions to know another. After all, your interpretation in nothing more but that - an interpretation. Well, now that I'm done with it, I'm free for 4 months.
Also, that video is really well drawn and animated. The lack of sound though...it's really annoying. At least, they could have axed the chopstick and random background noises.
Stop questioning me and repent, Roommate!
Don't you find the ending sequence fancy? Could you tell me the artist's name? The artstyle seems familiar but I cannot seem to recall.

@JennyYou fool, it is a very classy, modern get-up. Mokou needs a different change of clothes too, you barbarian.
Mmm, sort of. I've just finished my second year, and was moving out of my old dorms.
I see. I'll have a look at it.
No, she doesn't. It's already in her character, there is just no helping for our poor and old Moko-tan. People in delusion such as yourself has every right to be emasculated. Give me a chopstick and I shall do it for you, my dear Roommate.
University with issues could be major pains in the butt. Take care of yourself better and good luck.

It's Mokou-tan after all.I mean, the serious VA talk thing.
Yeah, I've seen FOG's little collection. Pretty neat.
And, long time no see.
What abysmal outfit is that. Moko-tan is supposed to be old-fashioned.
Oh, we're just talking about the latest episode of Fantasy Kaleidoscope here.
Yeah, I suppose we haven't been here much. Perhaps you're dealing with issues in university like me?

I like to weigh my options in that one. Maybe because I don't know any badly voiced Anime, I can't tell what is considered "badly-voiced". But considering that it only has subs while the characters actually talk... no voice is just... bad. Didn't like the unvoiced version of the first OVA either. Even when the voices weren't that good, they were better than the no-voice version. On a different note, this is great.
Well, have you ever tried to watch some dubbed animes out there? You could use that for references.
Ah, I ever saw that picture in danbooru a long time ago. I kinda prefer this adorable version of Raymoo though.

What is all what? You have a fine woman as your avatar, appearance-wise.
If you're interested in cosplayers, FOG shared his victims' photos above there.
FreeOtakuGhost36 wrote...
ahaha...sorry. i wasn't paying any attention that time. so some might slipped through my Otaku Eyes during that time.it was pretty limited time too for the cosplayers since it's only from 12.00am till 15.00pm so by the time i arrived at the cosplay ground at 13.00ish,didn't have much time.
not to mention some of the cosplayers pic has long lines before we can took their pictures(the longest was yukari).
Ah, how unfortunate. Don't bother apologizing though, what you have shared to us is already worth an appreciation.
Are you referring to that Yukari and Yuyuko cosplayers? Or perhaps this Yukari by any chance.

Well, certainly not professional ones, since that's just like Maikaze again. I mean the ones from other doujin circles, such as singers from ENS/Syrufit/Halozy, albeit... they have a few overlapping ones (as said before, 3L/Tsubaki/Hotaru). And these are not popular (and good) for no reason either, so I don't think too many would complain seeing "3L - Sakuya" in the credits after marveling over her voice. They are still professionals, albeit not specifically in VA department. To add, I don't believe that being a good singer is always equal to that of being a decent or good voice actress. Fans are mostly jerks, which includes me; they always have something to nitpick, no matter how minor it is.
Say, this is just a question; what would you prefer, not-voiced or 'badly'-voiced?

Hopefully ZUN could learn a thing or two about character drawing from the artists.No.Way.
While I agree that some characters received splendid make-over, Alphes' artsyle seems to be degrading if compared to his works in IaMP -> Hisoutensoku.
Kagamin wrote...
But it was still better than a non-voiced video, since that really detracts from the experience. I always wondered why they could not hire somebody from the music circles to voice the characters, considering some singers (3L, Tsubaki) are active in several circles, why not in an animation circle too? Why would they want to spend extra money and time for something that's not even exactly mandatory? Telling them to either borrow or hire some voice actress, especially professional, is like telling Fantasy Kaleidoscope to suffer the same fate as Summer Day's Dream. Not to count the possibility of how many people would complain about wrong voice actresses for wrong characters yadda yadda.
I'd say Manpuku Jinja's decision to not use voice actresses is wise and rational, considering the risks.

It's a wonderful work of animation, if you also consider it's fanmade.
Colors are exquisite and pretty, and the same goes to the drawings.
Btw there's already a dubbed version, i belive it's chinese, but if you don't mind...

I'm fine with undubbed version. Thank you very much, Haru.
It's next to impossible for me to stream 16 minutes straight however. Is there any possible way to download it from bilibili? When I got asked to download, the filesize was somehow reduced to about 45 MB and the duration was 6 minutes instead of the real 16 minutes.
From what I managed to watch, it seems they used the SA opening with some additional Mobile Suit sound effects.
-edit--
In the end, I have to stream the whole video to see all of the download links [size=10](divided into 3 parts; 6 minutes, 6 minutes, and 4 minutes)[/h].
Holy-Royal-Firecracker, I'm really glad that they didn't adapt the whole EoSD (yet). The story seems to be a flashback and revolved around Flandre. Again, Marisa stole the main character mantle away from Reimu, at least for this episode only because there seems to be the next one coming in the future.
Putting wonderbar animation aside, it looks more like a prologue to me, which is a good thing considering 16 minutes is not enough justice for one game. To add, the ending sequence is simply boss; one of the best artworks of EoSD I've ever seen and fine song there.

Well... I did win against PC with her, but still, I didn't feel like I was playing and rather she just randomly felt like moving at times. Didn't get the meter part of her, maybe that's why.Or maybe you unintentionally interrupted the actual move before it's executed? She really is kinda tricky, both to her player and the opponent, though that makes her more attractive.
Actually, I believe Koishi is similar to Byakuren in a sense that both require 'preparations' before using the actual moves. Different from Byakuren who has the freedom to execute her skills at will after the preparation, Koishi has to wait till her meter is filled up, just like what Zandwarf said. However, it seems like you're able to slightly delay the execution if you press and hold the button, making her relatively unpredictable just like how Koishi is supposed to be.
As bizarre as it might be, there is nothing really off or random about her, movements-wise. To add, I think she is a fine character (bias overloaded) with above-average skills.
This one? Now that you mention it, this theme actually sounds very good. I probably overlooked it because I normally didn't pay much attention to menu. Good stuff.
I also heard that. How unfortunate, albeit understandable.
Did you manage to see it before it's taken down?
"You got cursed by yukkuri" is my serious answer.
"The game is still in its earliest stage. Heck, I even got killed by laser that I believed I would usually able to graze once before" is my joke answer.

It is a little more difficult than TD, especially when you get to Stage 3. And as I said, the non-weapon player characters are almost op in terms of the game, which makes it feel like it's easier. Items.... felt like they fell at their normal pace. Unless you used Sakuya the times you played, which seems like it's her ability to make them fall slower.
Weapons are there usually for the sake of decoration only after all. Look at Miko, she barely, if not at all, used her sword in TD. But in HM, she used it as if she wanted to execute Unlimited Blade Works.
Oh is that so? Shame on my part for not paying attention. Yes, I only did use Sakuya. Thanks for the clarification there.

FIRST! - I like the Second stage bosses theme. :3If you want to know and remember their names: http://en.touhouwiki.net/wiki/Double_Dealing_Character/Characters
What do you think about Kagerou? I personally think she is the best DDC has to offer in this trial version - theme-wise, effect-wise, and etc-wise.
brok3n butterfly wrote...
DDC is, in my opinion, relatively easier compared to some of its predecessors, but still slightly more difficult than TD. Just like with Yoshika and her regeneration ability, Kagerou surprised me with her Chen-like movements lethal version (assuming you stay on the bottom of screen). Most of the spellcards look delicious, I'm really impressed with the effects.
Speaking of items, don't you also feel that the items falling in somewhat slower pace?
It's not pleasant for me to witness how the penalty system in UFO is making yet another appearance here, but I feel glad the game is not as punishing, at least for now.

EDIT: Just tried out the demo of DDC and found that I completely lost all my (already meager) skill in the Danmaku games.I didn't even beat the first stage boss, although... I have to admit that I just randomly moved about. But I'm really happy at Sakuya being playable again <3
Where can I get this demo?
