I just found out that Kana Asumi is the VA for Tachibana Marika. HnnnnggggghhhhhEpisode 1 is out. It's Akiyuki Shinbou being Akiyuki Shinbou yet again. Every VA so far is perfect for their roles so no complaints.

Hella bumping this cuz I just watched the FUNIMATION dubbed. I dunno Funimation seems to hit and miss a series when it comes to it.The dub cast are very talented people. No joke. If anything, I think the side characters are compatible with their dubbed voices. The main issue I had was the main character voices. With given knowledge that Koko and Jonah are very young people, their dubbed voice went for more of a personality take rather than taking consideration of their background (mainly their age). Jonah sounds like a stoic cool 16-17 year old for a 14 year old while Koko sounds like a batshit crazy hag for a batshit crazy teenage age(17-19).
Even though, I did point out the major flaw instantly, the main voices somehow grew onto me. I dunno whether it's the scenes where the voices matter the most or just my undying desire to want Jormungand to be a very good target for a dub but the voices are tolerable.
While that's in effect, I'll be rewatching Jormungand dubbed and so far, no problems, all enjoyment.
Hmmm while I can excuse the Jonah voice, KoKo's actually older shes like 25-26 in the series and like 27 at the end when the cliffhanger comes. Does the dubb sound older then a mid-late 20's woman?
Source of their age? That's news to me. The only information I got was that they are at a young age Jonah being the obvious younger one of the duo. If anything, I can forgive Koko being in the very low 20s. The first impression of Koko was ranging in the high 20s.
But again, I just got used to it. Not gonna turn back just because of first impressions.

Most likely. It was a great recovery though since I recently finished 2 shitty seasons of Nyaruko. But still~ ;-;
Although, this season was better than the first season in a lotta ways. And also shipping Akeno and Issei. Go underdog romance.
Luin. I'm completely aware that without fanservice and horny issues from the protagonist, this series would've been a great casual shonen battle series. But alas, SEX BOOBS AND ASS SELLS A LOT.
And utterly disgusts me.

Well, it gains such a reputation out of it. To void it is just pure blasphemy beyond this point. Well, in this case it's hell of a lot better than Queens Blade in fanservice, comedy(...?), and action scenes.
Third season oughta be confirmed by now lol.
