Greater? Are you saying majority should rule? You understand this isn't a democratic election where you, the people get to decide what's best for this website. I wasn't voted into office, I was "hired" by the owner because he trusts me to do the job. I don't believe a larger number of people indicate it's the greater good.

The threads with a "second option" go where the moderators believe they should go. I don't understand why them not being on the first page hurts them. You do realize the thread is going to see a ridiculous increase in foot traffic now that it's in the most popular section on the forums. If a user really wants to follow the thread the section wont matter.

You still have not given me a reason to put anything back, your feelings just aren't enough.

If the posts don't mean a thing then why are users complaining? The truth of the matter is users dislike the chat section. What greater good? What are you talking about? I acted based on my opinion and I still hold to my opinion being right, that a "rate the above" thread only belongs in the chat section. Why does the subject supersede my opinion of it's worth? Does the chat section not permit any threads about music?

My response was in part to other users and the global effect my action seems to have caused, I'm not asking you to respond, simply explaining my side of things, another user called it abuse, I made it clear it wasn't. I don't know where you feel the aggression, I always post this way.

Because I have not seen your thread in Food and Cooking. If it's something I feel I should move, I will. I don't have to justify my actions to you or any other member of this community, the only people I answer to are the admins. If you want your thread in music you should request Jacob move it.

Look, I got a report(2 in fact) from users saying the thread should be moved, I checked it out and agreed something like that didnt deserve to be worth posts. I did my job and moved something based on my opinion and this was the outcome. People who claim it's an abuse of power are being ridiculous, is it abuse because I don't agree with you? Are you saying I should do what the majority want, and not what I think is right? I'm going to keep doing my "job" to the best of my ability, which means I'm going to decide things on how I interpret the rules, if you'd like to change that get me fired or become a global mod yourself, otherwise things will remain this was indefinitely.

It's not possible to merge it back and as I said I agreed that it did not belong. If the issue was the merge and not the threads location then you have a new thread that was created today. If another thread is made there was a previous warning given by tegumi and thus we would be under our rights to deliver a short ban to whoever ignored the warning.

It was reported and I agreed it didn't belong in music, deal with it.
