You really cant tell the difference between friendly advice and rule enforcement. I give up; I cant comprehend why you keep missing the basic point of I AM GIVING YOU ADVICE AND YOU ARE FREE TO IGNORE IT, I was not treading on your freedom of speech or telling you you're not allowed here. This is not a generalization, it's not opinion; IB isn't to be taken seriously, it is the section of silliness. The creator of the site deemed it as such.



You are correct in saying this is a generalization but it's clearly wrong. Your statement is too broad; of course some of the antics in IB are immature but to label the entire section immature is ridiculous and anyone who made such a claim would look like a fool.

What? Why? When did I say anything of the sort? IB is the section for silliness, not once did I mention maturity. Maturity or lack there of has no relation to posting in IB. Why are you putting words in my mouth again?



IB does have a standard; the standard is NOT TAKING EVERYTHING TOO SERIOUSLY, like I said. How does it cater to trolls, and why are you tossing a blanket judgment over everyone because they post in a section designed not be serious?



Your rational is based on a flawed illogical generalization which holds no ground. The sections was created for people to have fun and to take nothing seriously, my advice was an attempt to help you avoid making yourself look like an idiot.



Alright, you necrobumped and felt you needed to defend yourself against those who questioned your actions. Why did you even try? The very fact that you took their complaints seriously is part of the problem here. This is IB, you get shit on for anything you do, so why even consider defending yourself? Do you think these people care? Do you believe they will suddenly see the light and believe you were in the right all this time? Please tell me you're more realistic than that.

Alright hear me out; I'm a staff member, I was trying to give you a warning of how things work around here, you don't have to take any of the advice I gave you but it is in your best interest to heed my words. Your time here will be more enjoyable if you take nothing seriously(other than when a staff member is trying his hardest to help you avoid pitfalls). Please for the love of God consider what I'm saying and take no offense from anything I said. I have now tried my hardest to help you, I wash my hands of this.
