[color=#993300]Select a few series and only let claims be from those series, those who can't claim a waifu are out of luck for the roundThat would not change much in terms of how the game is played, people would just pick their popular girls the next week. The only way this could make it more exciting is if I announced it when I unlocked the thread, causing people to misfire their first picks.

Make it no divorces and start it with the new season so everyone can suffer for picking characters they new nothing about.Same problem, plus would make the first round boring as fuck.

What about rare/uncommon series? A round only for them?If you want more people playing Waar, not putting a put a high post requirement would help.
Think about idea to make the game more exciting, not restrict more.
I'm pretty sure I'm going to lower to min count to 50 or remove it altogether.

That idea of no rounds, just rapid-fire claims, seems like a great way to incite more vigor and rage into people, though my issue with that idea is that it'd make the game too short. It'd be interesting to see how it'd play out, though. It'd seem like it'd run more smoothly if there was a smaller limit on waifus, though maybe that could be arranged, or it could be two rounds of up to three waifu at a time, if the max remains at five.
Just tossing it out there.
Like you said; the shortness would be a problem.

If you want more ruthless, here's a few.-If several people claim the same character- the one with the higher post count/seniority/rep/whatever wins.
Rewarding longstanding members or "popular" posters is meh, not a fan of said idea.

-To a maximum of 6, the number of years you've been on site is the number of waifus you can have. Yes, this also applies to lurkersIll consider it.

-Or, so the Achievements in our profiles aren't entirely useless, the number of achievements you have determine your number of allowable waifus. That might be a bit ridiculous for some of us. I would have 7 now and there's a whole bunch of them I could get if I put 10 seconds into it. I'm not hosting 14 rounds of the waifu game.

-NTRs can be done to anybody, from anybody. Some newb can NTR a guy who's been here ever since Fakku was created- the only factor is a majority vote. If it's a tie- it's decided by the host with a coin flip.Sounds like popular users win again, so no.

-Five rounds (if we adhere to the standard). Five days during the work week. The game would be over shortly annnnnnd I would have to show up 5 days in a row, fuck that.

Who's ready for a 6 a.m. Monday Round 1?Great idea, which would require me to get up at 6 am as well... fuck that too.
Good ideas guys, I'm taking parts of them and thinking about how I can use some of it, keep it coming.

I don't like sets, nor do I like the idea of trading with others, this is not about cooperation, nor do I think people with more friends should have better chances to get who they want.
I'm also not going to add a rule check, why would I want less people trying to win big name characters?
The only inconvenience is that people annoy me a bit with claims they cant make due to rules, and someone always quickly reminds them why their claim is invalid.
I like some of the things Jack did but overall he took the game in a direction I had not planned for. Had Jack not been a temp replacement due to art being dumb I would have stayed out of it and would have let the game go for good(as I had intended for art).
Before people keep suggesting things I want to remind people of my goal; I want more people to play, I want people to climb over the corpses of their friends and enemies on the way to claiming their beloved waifu. New gimmicks are great but if they get away from those goals I will not be adopting your idea. Keep them coming but try to keep that in mind while thinking about it.

As a heads up, a user told me the deleting posts bug is no longer an issue so you can remove that warning from the first post(if Alice misses this post can someone inform her?)

None of the rules stated up to this point are for sure going to be part of this game, I'm open suggestions and I might steal an idea or two from TMS but for the most part I'm going to base a lot of what we use on the last waifu game I hosted. I might add NTR rules but only for people who opt into it, anyone who doesn't cant have their waifu stolen. That should effectively turn this into two games, the traditional "waifu game" and the "your waifu is mine game".

When we first started it was me and TMS, he came up with the first few rules and I told him to make them progressively worse to the point where people started losing their shit, more so than they already do. We talked about adding micro-transactions (for waifu slots) and ridiculous rules that would prevent people from claiming girls with the letter I in their names for a round, or girls with twintails, stuff like that. He just kinda stopped adding new stuff so I asked for his account info and the last 2 posts "he" made were mine(i think).
The majority of those of you saying "i knew it" didnt really know shit, you suspected but the vast majority were sitting there dreading the possibility of TMS hosting.

Alright so, ladies and gentlemen, the real waifu game will start July 12th and I'm going to be the host this time. This was an elaborate attempt to troll but I got lazy and didn't go through with it. I was planning on letting everyone start the round as normal and announce it was all bullshit a few days later. I have access to TMS's account so I could pull this off but revealing everyone's pick would have been pretty low of me, hilarious, but scumbag-ish.
I'm giving it two weeks so I can properly advertise as well. This was something I planned to do months ago, around march. Good news or bad; you decide.

Whole bunch of complaining and speculation in here.Well, that's to be expected. We're complaining about the lack of his posting, since he's only posted 7 times since he's taken and accepted the mantle of game runner back in April. And because of his lack of posts and face time here, we're speculating that the same will happen to the game.
We're just voicing our concerns via "Free Speech".
1. Why are you explaining the perfectly obvious reasons you guys are being idiots?
2. Free speech doesn't apply to an internet forum.
He's probably enjoying your tears, I know I am.

I'm going to get hold of Alice soon. She's not on right now, but I ask Bookie to text her. So should have a new one by Alice soon.
You two certainly are a fine pair of bullies, how very high school of you. Amuses me when people from CTFG try to explain how much more evolved they are than the denizens of IB, a fine example you two are setting.

Can you either add a link to my warning thread or post a warning of your own asking users not to delete posts, breaking threads.

There is currently an issue with the deletion of posts in threads. It causes a bug and makes the continued use of that thread problematic. I'd like to ask all user in CTFG and IB to stop deleting your posts in these section and only use the edit function. If you want to remove the content of your post leave something like "Content removed" instead. In the event that someone is knowingly trying to break threads I will look at the deleted post thread and if I notice any kind of abuse I will punish people accordingly. Ive sent up the red flag to Jake which will hopefully get some attention soon.Just wanted to add, if and when this does happen to this thread and you guys want to make a new one pm me asking if it's alright. It'll give me a better idea of when people are trying to fuck things up so I can try to track down any shenanigans. If the amount of anti bug posts is around 2-3 I wont permit it but if it gets to 5 and above ill probably let it slide.
Also put up a warning in the first post about trying to avoid deleting posts as it only leads to problems for you and the staff.

I know these threads have been broken recently with people deleting their posts, I checked he deleted posts thread and it seems to be one user in particular that seems to be a problem. I have asked this person to stop deleting their posts, if they continue I will have to assume they're making an effort to break these threads and will punish them accordingly.
I also gave someone(who asked) permission to make v4 of the thread. In the future if user want to make new versions of longstanding threads they have to request it and I'm going to give priority to the original poster first.

Because I laugh at all of these autistic posts.
