Well... doujinshi aren't that expensive. Not dirt cheap, but you can certainly take a hit.
We know how it feels to be ninjad on scans (bought quite a few books to scan and just at that moment, scans were surfacing orz).
I'll just hope it turns up on Japanese sites like Otasen or the likes.

So you obviously can't license that.I think they're not illegal in Japan though. Or at least it's a gray area because basically, doujinshi are considered some kind of free promotion, resulting in more sales.
Not sure if the US are as liberal in that regards.
