Well I was just cracking a joke, but I was unaware of Rance's fated women. Partially I think that was a pretty good joke on TADA's part to say that Rance is greedy enough to have ten women for each fate string on his fingers, but seeing as how the fated play a prominent role in the series (especially IX) it's hard to see it as only a joke. Regarding the other seven fated women the one's I'm pretty confident of would be: Senhime considering IX and her frequent appearance lately, Kenshin's attachment to Rance(but you could say the same about Ria) and I'm quite sold on Pastel\Reset considering their relationship.
Yeah that mission is bugged, I went back to it after going ahead a chapter and it worked.
I think TADA said that they plan on at least going to Rance 10, which means that the main series will probably end there but Rance spinoffs are possible. Might not be well received but possible.
Rance currently "controls" 75% of the Human Realm.
Once upon a time, the Japanese H-game magazine "TECHGIAN" had a ranking to let the readers vote for their favorite H-game character. For a year, Rance held the first place. Then TECHGIAN changed the ranking to "your favorite H-game heroine", disqualifying Rance
Rance has no level cap and is likely to be the first to reach sword skill level 3.
Anybody who would succeed Rance as the MC for that installment would have a tough time matching him, if that's even possible. If anything I could see it as a temporary thing during a few chapters in a Rance game, but an entire Rance game would be finicky.
Strange usage of fated women, is there a cage capable of holding all the women in the world?

Basically downloading this because it makes sure that taunted enemies WILL attack the taunter..otherwise it's bug fixing for problems that I haven't really noticed so it's probably fine to skip out on this.
I would make a copy of Rance IX before using the update though, people have lost saves and ran into various other problems apparently.
If you are talking about the anime, then start with Bakemonogatari, Nisemonogatari, Nekomonogatari then catch up with the rest of the viewers with Bakemonogatari season 2.
For the light novels, incomplete translations on Baka-tsuki but they plan on doing most (if not all) of the novels in the anime so meh.

Who would've guessed that his water attack can reach everything in front of it, even when I placed 2 of my characters on the opposite edge of the map in front of it.
The Crab's range isn't everything in front of it, it's six squares in front. Squares affected by an AoE effect will briefly light up yellow.
I agree though. Not having a constant or obvious visual range indicator like Fire Emblem, Disgaea or otherwise is a crutch in this game, but it's not too crippling seeing as how most maps are so small and with high range values + movement it's usually better to assume that a ranged enemy will hit something important. Hopefully I'm wrong and there's an option for it in the settings.

Keep taunting the turtles. Ranged enemies sucks in general.
-You can't see how far they can attack
-the AI is programed to prioritize attacking the closest spell user in your team.
-Magic users GAHHHH, without Pitten it's a nightmare
You can see a unit's range by counting the amount of squares they can move (moving them as forward as possible) and then looking at their range stat, probably not worth the time considering the small size of the maps. Ranged killers. Cheapest solution is just to kill them with Kanami, at 120-150% evasion with 25hp she'll be able dance around helman elite without caring but she can only kill one every turn. Another is sending Rance to the back using the pig arm, but that's a finite resource and rance is probably better off smacking around something bigger. Best solution is Shizuka using her special gauge very high damage and keeps her safe.
Magic user aggro is slightly different, they will target the unit with the lowest magic resistance in their range however they will target vulnerable (low base HP) if they can. I've seen enemies completely ignore Shizuka, Kanami(with magic res items) and otherwise so that they can hit Patton who has 0 base magic resistance.

Let any enemy besides the red pixelated ones hit the purple line. If three pixelated monsters run past you lose.
If you want to do it yourself don't read this
Spoiler:
I really suggest clicking on the pastebin that Sariour linked (http://pastebin.com/GQBPcZvD) and referring to it whenever you are confused it helps soooo much having special item details, yellow star upgrades, and map clearing conditions. Although it doesn't have a character bio on the blue mage shota for whatever reason, but I don't use him at all so meh.

I'm assuming that most of the above has to do with Ed's true identity, which I haven't gotten to yet. If he kept his alias as Ed in Baldr Sky then I probably missed the nemesis call out from Father Gregory? It was Father Gregory right?
Mostly my comments were angled towards gameplay since that was one of the defining features for me in the Baldr Sky series, otherwise my experience in Baldr Sky Zero 2 is pretty minimal since I'm finding difficulty fitting it on my platter with Rance IX.
I probably need to clear Baldr Sky Zero 2 and then come back to this later, because the information I have now is clearly insufficient.

It seems to work perfectly fine for me. I extracted both .rar archives, mounted with Daemon tools, installed, copy&pasted the patch to the folder and it runs in english now. I suggest reinstalling the game starting from the first step (maybe even downloading the game again in case something went wrong in the download) and turn off your antivirus during installation/download. The anti-virus may have removed something important in the folder thinking it's a heuristic virus, however I've downloaded from erogedownload hundreds of times and it's safe (be wary of the ads). If that doesn't work try running as admin as well as using compatibility mode for windows 7, if you are using a Mac all hope is lost.

Well I let four red orbs go to rot in storage for nothing then, overestimated their value and tried to stay four capped at all times. If it doubles xp given, it would probably be a good idea to save several red orbs for new game+ assuming xp gain is higher there. Especially since gold orbs become scarcer in new game+.

That link is godly, literally solves a majority of stat related problems I have in the game. Major rep to you and azraeth for not leaving us plebs in the dark.
Oh crud I thought you meant every two upgrades in a stat you get a bonus, so I ended up maxing damage and health on Rance. Hur der. Luckily I never went beyond 8 stars.
Well the only thing I'm still in a grey area for is what you lose when a character falls in battle. I think it reduces the amount of PP (or some kind of reward) earned but I've noticed that it stops occurring with some deaths. Also the red orbs provide a buff I'm sure but I'm still unclear as to what it's actual effect is. If you can clarify I would appreciate it.

i dont know why these games have to be so difficult to play, why can't you just download it and press play? there alway these mount to play things and install this or that. even when i finally figure out how to mount, i use sites like http://erogedownload.com/ that gives me links to download it and after i downloading i cant mount it, so its basically a sitting duck of uselessness.
http://fuwanovel.org/ is the ONLY place i've NEVER had a problem downloading from, all you do is torrent it and press play. that IT!!!
Because Fuwanovel only updates once in a bluemoon and while the selection is good it doesn't cover a majority. Plus Fuwanovel uploads to sukebi.nyaa.
What are you having issues downloading? I guarantee I can point you in the right direction, but I'm not going to hold your hand.

The only difference between using Mekakushi Dan and the English versions (Blinded Gang, blindfold gang, etc.) is that Mekakushi Dan is more common and recognizable in the anime community. It's just easier to use since most people will know what you are talking about.
EDIT:Someone post episode 4 was done decently and I want to grace it with an entire post.

Well I'm still working on BSZ2 (decided that Rance 9 was more important), but from my experience in BSZ2 and BSZ I came to the conclusion that BSZ series was never intended for BS in the beginning (consider Dream X and it's coverage of Kou's mercenary days) and probably would have had a much better time if it wasn't licensed under the name Baldr Sky since there are few connections to the game despite calling itself a prequel.
So far the game is pretty straightforward what with Rance doing as he pleases and I'm loving the asymmetry of some levels, there was one level where the map kept moving forward every turn and that was pretty fun.
I'm currently playing it in a way where I force myself to restart the mission if I lose one person, it's a pretty fun and I've learned quite a bit from doing so.
So apparently armor durability reduces after each use, and you pay more each time in the armor shop to repair it (and maybe upgrade it?) so it's probably a good idea just to upgrade armor only when you need it or when your armor rating is too awful to ignore.

I think that was poorly done for the Mekakushi dan intro episode. The anime is beating around the bush too much, I feel like the episodes are trying more to meet the time tables with it's drawn out animations, now quite annoying because of Shaft's persistence in trying to make still-frames interesting, rather than make the time worth watching.
12 episode limit, it's looking grim.

Oh this is a remake of the original, I'll probably pick it up so I can see what the fuss is about. My backlog is terrifying now.
People have already cleared the game in a day. I'm not sure if it's a testament to their devotion or if this Rance game is smaller than average. Probably the former, since Rance fans are crazy awesome people.

Nah he's probably not even properly thinking of the consequences, most likely probably following his gut and spiting the asses who are persecuting his employer for reasons they or he do not fully understand. Another alternative is that his career is pretty much over, assuming a saboteur is equatable to a PMC, so he might as well see far how far saving Chaika will go for him. Plus saving lolis is a national duty. Fairly loose motives but there could be better reasons.
