Most of our emotions are based heavily on the way modern society has made them.

Why do we cry? To get attention from something able to protect us; care for us.
Why do we fear? To protect ourselves from harm, increase reaction and heart speed; awareness.
The list goes on...

Animals, at least many of them, do feel some of these. Basic instinct for everything is self preservation, and to keep up the species, of course. So many of their 'emotions' are self interest.

I do remember reading some things on animals, such as horses, be sad after loosing a young one, and almost mourning around the corpse... So I think it also does depend on the type.

The goose, on the other hand... I don't think cared, really. It noticed the little one's absents, sure, but not really be sad for the loosing it. Can't say for sure, though. Just observation.

A stupid language, really. I could not imagine trying to learn it. Hell, well over half of the people born 'speaking' it can't correctly.

Oh well, at least we have words like antidisestablishmenttarianism, which give me a topic to write a paper on.

Simply put: I live here. There are worse places in the world. Me hating it will currently do nothing to benefit myself, or anyone else for that matter. So no, I don't.

Just saw it today.

Yeah this looks promising, I loved the first MW, One of the few games I'll play online. So the 2nd one I am looking forward to.

Agreed, I didn't mind W@W, but I've never really liked old world war games. The very reason I liked MW so much.

Simply put: yes, I pirate a lot of games.

Mainly because developers charge way too much for a game that may only last 5-10 hours. Even 15 hours, for 50-60 bucks? No thank you.

And Demos seem to have become endangered, I am not paying for a 'chance' of enjoyment.

If I like the company, or know that it's a game I'll like, then I'll be happy to pay for the full version.

My introduction came in several steps.

Around Christmas, when I was about 11, my oldest brother came home for a few weeks. We were chatting about something, most likely porn due to the course of events, and he randomly turned around, logged onto the computer, pulled up a page and wala, I was introduced to porn.
Heh, he would make me cover my eyes while he searched, then show me only the pictures. A few of them were Hentai, which to me was nothing more than nude cartoons.

It was a few years later I learned what Hentai was due to search for pictures of some of my favorite Anime... Been at it sense then.
