Playboy and other such erotic literature are made specifically to jerk it to. To use when the wife is out of town, or throws you on the couch. All the work that goes into taking the photos is to enhance the raw sexual appeal of the woman... If you could look deeper into Playboy than that, or it signified anything other than the obvious, then yes. I would be arguing it as art. However, I don't believe Hefner had that in mind.

The picture I originally created the topic on, however, was not created to oogle at dumbly. It was (this is no more than speculation, at this point... like with all art.) created to stir emotions within the viewer.
I look at the picture, and I see a chick giving a blowjob, yes. I also see the fact that everything besides that act is blurred out, enhancing the sharpness of it and saying something along the lines of "This is all that currently matters." I see her lack of facial expression, her slight imperfections, the shine of her tongue... All frozen, in a single moment.

Now, as it goes with art, the crafted object in question gives a different message to different people. Not everyone looks at the Mona Lisa and comments on how feminine that man looks. So what I see is slightly irrelevant, I just want to give an example that I do see more to this picture than anything Playboy has made to date.

I used to use IE... then switched to Firefox and have used it sense, convert everyone I can to it. Have yet to hear a complaint.

Agreed, that is what gets me. The angle is thought out, and it's zoomed in much further than normal, focusing on only that part of the scene...

Yes, it is very much porn related. No, someone did not splatter paint on a canvas all night and call it 'La Grandeur.' However, I just cannot see it as simple minded porn. Any two people off the street can get naked and take pictures of themselves doing things... It takes a lot more to make something like that.

As others have said, it's personal belief. And at first glace, it really does just look like porn. But really, after looking longer it does not seem like it was made for a masturbation aid... It's too sleek, intellectual, and visual... too deep.

That is beyond religious fanatics... that is insanity.

And I don't say that out of anger or part sarcasm. I truly see her as no less than insane.
Sure, she has the right to her own beliefs and freedom to state them... But so does an insane person, mumbling about how the trees are evil and the lawn is trying to eat them. She just replaces trees with soldiers and the lawn with... well, I would not be overly surprised if she did believe that last bit.

I can agree with you that it is odd that some people believe so strongly that something with so much proof is fake.. However, there is a conspiricy for just about every horrific disaster out there. I mean, look at 9/11. Granted people believe it- most likely due to it being on tape- but they believe it happened for a different reason then what evidance preasants.

If it is artistic, it's art... Unless there is a naked chick? Or only if the naked chick is being sexual?

My brother sent me this picture, he got it from a site containing 'art,' pretty much all along the lines of this.

Now, this was obviously taken by a skilled photographer. Makeup and lighting are both most likely present, and it's B&W. However, the unavoidable truth is... shes deepthroating a guy.

So I ask: Is it Art, or is it Porn?

Note: I did not add a 'both' option because I didn't think it would add anything to this conversation.

Oh man, that really was a long time ago...

I was most likely just looking for doujins for one thing or another on google, and found this site. Noticing it had many appeasing mangas I saved it.
I was never very big on forums, so I didn't sign up for quite some time. Then I wanted to start thanking the team for their translations.
