Not sure if I'm going to stay up for this as I have 2 exams tomorrow, and the peak of the eclipse is at 3:17AM where I am. And it's frickin' 17° out... (That's -8°C for you metric people)

I don't think that's actually a "press X button" noob-mode, as in previous AC games holding triangle would follow and zoom in on a target, and holding down circle (not just tapping) to fire a missile would show a cool "follow the missile" view until it hit the target. In the trailer, whenever the button is shown on screen, the view changes.

Hopefully it's just a cool camera-view effect and not a "win button".

Same here, not really into the slave thing, but I can see how some people might be into it. It's OK as long as it doesn't go overboard and fill up most of the page with some ugly old guy instead of the girl, IMO.

How about a board or sub-board for talking about artists or artwork from specific anime? Got the idea from the Last Exile thread, as most people were talking about Range Murata's works.

Or do you think that would be too specific and not many people would post there?

Not many of my friends watch anime. Out of those who do, they usually watch DBZ/Naruto/Bleach/etc. I know some of them watched Gurren Lagann and Cowboy Bebop, though. Very few of them watch shows from other genres, like Clannad, Azumanga Daioh, or even Last Exile and Claymore.

One of my friends is really into Naruto, but it doesn't bug him that much that I don't like it.

I think I'm the only one who watches H anime, although I have to admit I don't really discuss that with others... Unless my friends are too but don't want to mention it either?

Anyway, I think some people don't like "mainstream" anime, just like some people don't like "mainstream" music.
