As you may have noticed, we've been experimenting a bit with the end logos that show up on the last page of a chapter. It wasn't something we paid much attention to in the past, since all our magazines came from the same publisher, but with the addition three new magazines and two new publishers, it suddenly got a little messy. Instead of having four different logos for different magazines, we've decided to streamline it and have a single logo for all future chapters:

We tried some different variations, but ultimately went with a fairly simple solution. Two of the new magazines don't list the titles at the end of the chapters, and instead only have their own standalone end logo. Titles almost always get longer and wordier when translated into English, so finding a good placement without covering up too much of the artwork proved difficult at times. Going forward, we'll use this new end logo without listing the chapter title a second time, which we believe will look a lot slicker than what we've done in the past. You can see an example of the benefit of not listing the titles below.

With that out of the way, let's move on to the previews for the August magazines, starting with X-Eros which we begin releasing early next week. As a reminder, previews for the other magazines will be added as we get closer to their release dates (between now and up until the middle of the month).

SnipI think there are large cultural differences at play here. I once had a conversation with a Japanese person where we actually discussed how (in her own words) Japanese women say "no" when they mean "yes" in porn. It was in fact the first thing that came up after they found out that I worked with hentai. The stereotypical actress in a Western porno is proactive/slutty, whereas they're passive/innocent in Japan. These are completely different approaches to porn, and one direct result is that you'll see the woman shouting "yes" in one region, and "no" in the other. On the flip side, the male actor can be either active or passive in the West, but has to take an assertive role in Japanese porn, with the latter sometimes leading to them initiating sex on their own. Of course, this is far from a steadfast rule and there are are ton of exceptions, but generally speaking, these are the standard tropes in each region.
Naturally, these two approaches can clash when you bring material from one culture over to the other—in particular the "they say no, but they actually want it" trope, given the current discourse in the West. However, I believe it would be unwise to lump these stories together with the ones that currently bear the forced tag.
Right now chapters fall under either vanilla, none of the two, or forced. If we implemented this as a new guideline, most of the second category and even some from vanilla would end up in forced. You could have a chapter where the character thoroughly enjoys the experience and is very enthusiastic about it, and another where they are vehemently opposed to what's happening. If you then have a third chapter, identical to the first with the one exception that there's no explicit consent given, I don't think it's tasteful to essentially equating the experience to that of the second chapter by giving them the same tag.
I fully acknowledge that this is an extremely sensitive subject. All forms of media is filled with settings and scenarios that in real life would not be acceptable (legally or morally), but I can only hope that in most cases, these are performances and nothing more. This might not have been exactly what you wanted, but I hope at least it shed some light on the thought process behind the tagging.
As for the original topic, we are adding new tags as time goes on, but we don't want to add too many. We're not trying to cover every imaginable feature or setting, but broader themes with our system. It's a different mindset than some other sites, but that's the short of it. As something becomes more prominent, there's a high likelihood that we'll add a tag for it. If it only appears in a few chapters, not so much.

Will the August preview thread also include previews for the new magazines?Previews for these aren't readily available the same way they are for the other four magazines. We still need to iron out some things with these new publishers to make the process smooth, so that's the main focus right now. Naturally, not all publishers have the same practices, and we're still getting used to it.
We most likely will have previews in some form for the new magazines, but I can't guarantee they will be there already next month.

Just a quick update on this series: the artist has asked for some time to go back and touch up the artwork in volume 2 (which is understandable, seeing how it first came out five years ago). Unfortunately, that means you have to wait a little longer, but we hope you look forward to the remastered second volume when it's ready!

As you predicted, we can't go into too much details on this topic, but I can give you a broad answer.
We have established relationships with practically all major ero manga publishers in Japan. There are a few who are simply not interested in international releases, but the rest are in general very eager to work with us—this goes for both publishers and individual artists. Just the other week another publisher expressed interest in us. I would estimate we have close to 10 magazines we could pick up right away if we had the resources for it. These seven magazines are about what we can handle at the moment with our current staff and methods, but we will pick up more in the future as long as the subscription service continues to grow.
As far as genres go, we wanted to start with something with a broad appeal. We only had two magazines at first, so it made sense to pick two of the most popular ones. Since we can't pick up every magazine right away and have to be selective, it's most beneficial for everyone that we bring over titles that the majority can enjoy. We are however beginning to dip into more niched genres now that we have a robust lineup, and Girls forM is the first example of that.
I can't tell you how many publishers and magazines that exist of the top of my head, but I'd say somewhere around a dozen publishers and at least 30+ magazines (not all monthly). New magazines are also constantly launched and some older ones shut down. Unfortunately, Comic Tenma is an example of a long-running magazine that had to shut down last year (in no small part due to piracy, from what I've been told). We're much more likely to pick up an active magazine (newer content + easier to contact the artists), so hopefully some of those artists move on to another magazine that we can pick up.
In short, we want FAKKU to be the go-to place for anything hentai. It's a lofty goal, but with your continued support, we hope to get there some day.

We launched our subscription service in 2015 with two of the biggest magazines in Japan: Comic Kairakuten and Comic X-Eros. We followed this up by adding Comic Shitsurakuten and Comic Kairakuten BEAST in 2016, bringing over the entire lineup of monthly magazines from our Japanese partner. Over these two years, this has resulted in close to 80 magazine volumes, over 1,600 full chapters, 200 spreads and illustrations, and 30,000 pages of translated, uncensored content! We at FAKKU are proud of what we've accomplished so far, and we can't thank you enough for your continued support.
Today we're excited to announce our biggest addition since the start of the service. As of this week, one more monthly magazine is joining the FAKKU lineup, as well as two extra magazines! Before we go into any more detail, let's give you a quick rundown of the three new magazines.
Comic Bavel
Comic Bavel is the first magazine from our new publishing partner Bunendo. It's a monthly magazine that size-wise lands somewhere in-between our current magazines with around 350 pages and 20 chapters each month. Here's a summary of some of the recent contributing artists as well as some sample images.
108-Go, Misaoka, Okada Kou , Suzuki Akoni, Tohyama Eight, Akuma, Alp, Aoba Hachi, Asamine Tel, Azuki Yui, Blue Gk, Fu-ta, Gegera Toshikazu, Gekka F-to, Gentsuki, Hanafuda Sakurano, Harukichi, Harurun, Hashibiro Kou, Hiroshiki, Ichiko, Inago, Johnny, Kanzaki Maguro, Ken-1, Kikuta Kouji, Kisen, Kyockcho, Leafy, Maki Daikichi, Maruwa Tarou, Maumen, Mda Starou, Menoko, Minami, Minato Itoya, Miyabi, Mizone, Nasipasuta, Nishin, Oouso, Ouji Hiyoko, Puyocha, Sasachinn, Sekiya Asami, Serizawa, Syou, Taira Issui, Tear, Touma Itsuki, Toyo, Uono Shinome, Yamada Yuuya, Yamamoto Zenzen, Yumeno Tanuki, Yumoteliuce

Comic Europa
Comic Europa is a sister magazine to Bavel. Much like how Shitsurakuten started out as a sporadically released bonus issue to Kairakuten which later grew into its own monthly title, this is a fairly new bonus magazine from the same publisher. It currently comes out every other month, and each issue is around 130 pages long.
Ban Kazuyasu, Broiler, Ebina Ebi, Emily, Fujitsuna, Hanafuda Sakurano, Johnny Yama, Kaga Akuru, Kaneko Toshiaki, Karakuchi Choucream, Labui, Leafy, Nanigawa Rui, Samidare Setsuna, Tanaka Ginji, Tetsuyama Kaya, Tom, Umiushi, Yomoyama Akira, Youta, Yu-ga, Yuzuki Makii

Girls forM
Finally, we have our first ever themed magazine: Girls forM. Akaneshinsha is a publisher known for releasing a large number of themed magazines, and this one is all about femdom. It covers a very wide spectrum, and you can expect to see everything from fairly mild domination to some quite extreme content. If you're a fan of Dibi's stories in X-Eros, wait until you see what they can get away with in this magazine!
New issues are released every fourth months, and the chapters are typically a bit longer. Expect around 16 chapters and just under 400 pages on average.
Ahobaka, Akai Mato, Akazawa Red, Amagaeru, Atahuta, Calipur, Clover, Dibi, Gin, Hanabi, Ichiko, Kinnotama, Kokuryuugan, Kosuke Haruhito, Kotatsu Tomodachi, Lorica, Marui Maru, Miyamoto Issa, Muk, Murasaki Nyaa, Navier Haruka 2t, Nokoppa, Oouso, Parabola, Piririnegi, Rasahan, Satetsu, Sexyturkey, Shida, Shinooka Homare, Shuko, Sorimura Youji, Stealth Changing Line, Sugar Milk, Tachibana Aruto, Usubeni Sakurako

As you can tell, there's some artist overlap with our current magazines. Very few artists work exclusively with a single publisher, which was brought up in a recent Hitori chapter, so you can expect to see extra chapters from some familiar names along with a ton of brand new artists. We haven't fully decided yet on how to go about releasing all these new magazines. It's a lot of content and it introduces some new challenges, such as the irregular release rates for each magazine. That said, we're hoping to release them all in their entirety. The first issues we're working on and will be releasing from each magazine is Comic Bavel 2017-06, Comic Europa Vol.11, and Girls forM Vol.14.
Finally we have one last announcement that we're really happy to be able to share with you. In addition to all the newer issues coming out in the future, we also have access to all the backissues from these three magazines! That means that when we come across a sequel chapter, we have the option to go back and release the previous parts of the series, and this is likely how we'll initially utilize this back catalog. However, when we're caught up with the current issues, the plan is to go back and work on older magazine. For instance, Girls forM Vol.15 was just released the other day, but once we're done with Vol.14 and 15, we can start working on Vol.13 while waiting for Vol.16 to be released.
We will kick this off by releasing two chapters from each of the three new magazines on Tuesday, and after that they'll be mixed in along with the other releases. We're thrilled to bring some of the old favorites back to FAKKU, and hopefully, we can introduce you to some new favorites over the next few months!

When we brought Bosshi to Anime Expo 2015, one topic that was brought up again and again was their popular doujinshi series Futabu. We would've loved to work on it back then, but it was beyond our reach at the time, seeing how we had yet to establish a relationship with the publisher, Akaneshinsha.
Earlier today we announced that we're adding our first magazine from this publisher, Girls forM, to our subscription lineup, and one of our first requests after that was for the compilation Futabu! Mix. Bosshi happily agreed to let us publish it in English, and at long last this highly-requested title is coming to the West!
You'll have to wait a little longer to get your hands on it though, but I can assure you the wait will be worth it! It's currently scheduled for release in early 2018.

More monster girls is one of the most common requests we get, but as I've mentioned in the past, there's only a handful of artists out there who draw this sort of content commercially. Nevertheless, we reached out to one of those artists, and we can now announce that we're bringing you the latest title from Z-Ton!
This is the artist's debut work, and centaurs are the main attraction here, with a series that spans the first half of the book. After that there's a bunch of oneshots with various monster girls, like a sheep, bat, mermaid, oni, and many more. The book also serves as a bit of an encyclopedia, and between many of the chapters are pages packed with information and in-depth analyses of the different races and creatures that appear throughout the book. We're sure even the most ardent monster girl enthusiast can learn a thing or two from this educational piece of art!

E-Musu Aki is one of the most active contributors to our magazines, with their curvaceous madams appearing in both Kairakuten and X-Eros. Because of this, we chose to wait a little so we could bring you the latest title from the artist. This long-overdue release contains over 30 color pages and almost 200 more in black and white, so we hope you look forward to picking up this book when we start pre-orders for it in the very near future!

We're excited to welcome our eighth addition to the FAKKU magazine lineup: Comic Koh! Our approach to this magazine will be a bit different from the previous ones, as we're starting out with volume 1, so keep reading if you want to hear more about that and a little bit about the magazine itself. If you just want more content, don't worry. Much like in the past, these new chapters will be added to your subscription while the cost remains completely unchanged!
Comic Koh
Comic Koh is another magazine from publisher Akaneshinsha, whose femdom-themed magazine Girls forM was added to the site last summer. The focus of this new magazine is high school girls, with an emphasis on neat and elegant artwork. This elegance is further exemplified by the magazine's gorgeous cover illustrations, done by artist Kamo ever since December of 2013 when the very first issue hit the shelves in Japan.
To kick this off, you can read the first two chapters, by Kink and Yamatogawa, right now! You can see a list of the full lineup of Vol.1 below:
Artists: Kamo (cover), Kink, Yamatogawa, Bubuzuke, Ootsuka Reika, Tsuruta Bungaku, Yuzuki N Dash, Moketa, Maban, makki, Toruneko, Turnover, Gengorou, Onizuka Naoshi, Ryo, Kudou Hisashi, Moyamoya, Fujisaki Hikari, Blmanian, Ponsuke, Makio, Desumokun, Meika

As mentioned above, for this magazine we want to try something different and start with the very first issue.
One of the main benefits of doing it this way is that it allows us to experiment a bit more. We're able to pick up a new magazine without adding another 3-400 pages to our monthly workload. These first volumes are fairly large, so it might take a while to get through them. However, this allows us to start the magazine now and work our way toward the point where we can get through a full volume of Comic Koh on a monthly basis, instead of having to delay adding it to the subscription. While this is very helpful for us, it also means more content made available to you sooner, making it a win-win for all parties involved.
Starting from the beginning naturally also means there won't be any issues with series in this magazine, and maybe most importantly, we get to bring back some old classics. Comic Koh has a great lineup of artists, so it's very likely you'll see the return of some of your favorite chapters from the last five years, better than ever before in their 100% uncensored glory!
