Physical pain is relatively easy to get over, but being embarrassed... That's a whole different ballpark for me. I tend to obsess over my social performance and an embarrassment I remember and can't let go of for years on end I remember an awkward moment I had in second grade that still haunts my mind whenever it's idle. 2 only because I never forget moments like that.
Watching to Carl Sagan's Cosmos. The hopeful tone of it always makes me think about things on a grander scale and it makes me feel like I ought to be a better person. So far no vast improvements, but who knows...

Nobody is going to be satisfied with 20 pieces of media for the rest of their life.It depends on how long that would be. There's a probability that you could die within an hour of being there, not likely, but possible...
Was this post necessary?
No, but arguably neither was the thread. In a general sense the typical post in a thread like this is fairly pointless to begin with. Does it matter if something is more pointless in an already pointless conversation?

Chemistry. My teacher always said I "spent too much time in physics-land" because I continually asked why. I was less interested in the reaction itself than I was about the idea of two atoms sharing elections, or of magnetic polarization of an element or isotope. It was always the why and how when she tended to want to focus on the what. Frustrating subject for me when I wanted to find out more about about the underlying aspects. Ironically because of my interest in theoretical physics from Einstein to Hawking, my physics class which taught Newtonian physics was a poor subject of mine. The schism may be small between the classical and contemporary approaches to physics, but it was when my teacher, who hardly knew physics, graded by the book without considering newer, better, and more advanced solutions to the same problems.
The most ironic class I took was comparative religions considering that I'm an atheist.

PS3, Xbox 360 and I'm building a gaming pc piece by piece paycheck to paycheck. Ok have a wii for novelty and an interesting paperweight.
I had a taste of M Theory in Stephen Hawking's "The Universe in a Nutshell", however to be honest I'm a bit confused as far as what exactly it says and means. If at all possible does anyone have a concise explanation of M Theory, Super-String theory and a synopsis of what exactly a p-brane and imaginary time is. I hate to sound as if I can't understand it, however without anything more that a high school physics class (which was not taught well at all and barely covered Newtonian physics let alone general and special relativity) and no college. If there's a link to the standard model (which accounts for the Higgs field) please explain that as well.

Can it be a laptop? Why not?
It can be whatever you want it to be as long as the hardware/software exist to make it.
Strangely as a child I had a bizarre dream. I wanted to be ordinary. Originally I wanted to be a paleontologist, but after meeting one and seeing how little the job yields (in terms of important scientific discovery, you'd be lucky to have I've breakthrough in your career considering the likelihood of discovering a new species or a more intact fossil than others) it made me think, perhaps I ought to leave the discovering to those who were better than me. I wanted an office job where I wore a tie and commuted to work. I don't know why I wanted to be like that, I mean, most ordinary people never want to be only that, they want more, but that was my incredibly boring childhood dream.
As a side note, once I happened across Carl Sagan's Cosmos I wanted to be in science once more, be it biology, astronomy, physics, chemistry or anything really.
Next semester I'll be in college to study neurology.

For me this question is a bit of a complex one. Being that I was a soldier in the US Army I was conditioned to fight in most circumstances barring overwhelming odds which jeopardize others or my ability to continue with whatever duties I am currently fulfilling. Being that it's a mindset and it sometimes conflicts with normal human fight-or-flight reactions there are moments when I would choose a much more tactful approach. If I was being bullied I typically let that slide considering the fact that it poses no inherent threat to myself or anyone that immediately concerns me. If it's a life or death circumstance I'd fight. As for rape, well I'm not sure anyone would rape me, however assuming that scenario I'd fight.
I'm afraid that someday everyone will find out everything about me. I'm afraid of what they think and hire they'll act once they know the real me. If anyone ever got every piece of what a detestable person I was, how hateful I am, how disgusting I am, what I'm ever really thinking, who I am at my core being. I'm not necessarily ashamed mg myself, but by societal standards I'm one of the lowest of low people. If you want confirmation read my old posts, for almost 2 months (if not more) I didn't post out of shame for how horrible a person I am.
And if you're wondering, yes I will continue to run from my mistakes, faux pas and faults.

Neon Genesis Evangelion. My first real anime I ever watched, the one that started the cascading effect of anime influence into my life.
Soda, although I heard they have vending machines with beer in Germany, I'm too lazy to actually confirm that, any German who reads this quote me so I'll get a notification... And yes I, did just change the subject, how successfully will yet be determined...

It's Sprint, so they'll do something, however thanks. I think that there's a way somehow though, people write programs for ridiculous things, why not for this?
Spoofing network usage to look like cellphone usage is something you'll have to program for yourself.
On what computer? Writing it on a phone is a bit more effort than I care to give...
