I mean, honestly I think it's an acquired taste. I know my band's drummer is crazy about them, but a few songs that I tried kinda took me more than one listen to enjoy to any level. Hell, I liked the acoustic guitar and cello cover of Paranoid Android more than the original (at least, it stuck to me more instantly).
I kind of get what you mean with the acquired taste thing. I just really fucking love them. Shame you don't like the original Paranoid Android more, it's an amazing song.
