MvC3 is a spamer's paradise and is not entertaining in any way, Blazblue is just a cheap uncompleted version of Guilty Gear *i would rather wait for a new Guilty Gear than play this ripoff*
if you want to look at things that way, then SFIV is a poor man's version of almost every game that came before it (ST, A2/3, 3S) and well deserving of the name 'downback fighter 4'

You throw out lightning kicks because you're mashing. Press only one button at a time with a purpose, although I'll admit to mashing jabs.Lol, I was going for either do an LL or HH start up, but I always ended up with one extra lol.
Never happened to Capt' or my Dante, because they don't have that certain move.. lol
I can still do a basic air combo with Capt' (LL Down H, S), but when I use Chun-Li, the "extra input" is always counted even though I want to do the same basic combo.
BTW, I don't play using a joystick (or whatever you call it ) I only play with your normal controller "shape-shifted" into a joystick by positioning my fingers like a joystick.
Need to train to time the right input.
About Aerial combo fail, it's more of a late hit timing than the opponent getting away. Also, the slight tilt on the direction effects too, because sometimes, I accidentally press the opposite direction, resulting in ME getting away from the opponent.. lol
fyi - Lightning legs along with other mashout moves like Blanka electricity in sf requires no less than 5 taps for the move to come out.

Well, Air Combo also depend on the character, even when you use the same combo, some characters are easy to execute some aren't so easy. So, do some experiments to find it.It's hard for me to use chun-Li to start an Air Combo, because I'll accidentally activate Lightning Kick instead with my fast fingers... lol and she usually mess up the Team Aerial with the same move... lol
I find that Dormamu doesn't like sticking to the game plan when I try to get a team arial combo going. The enemy often gets away from him, effectively ending the combo before I could switch a new fighter in to keep it going. Deadpool and Taskmaster, however, work really well for such matters.
How does one get away from a combo without a burst? This isn't BlazBlue or Arcana Heart.
Team aerial combos can be countered, though this is more of a case of dropped combos.

it works it worksi barely see people push block in my matches let alone guard
they're all to anxious to get that low hit in
I guess you care more about beating bad players than getting better.
what are you talking about?
everyones using assist covers to gain advantage and jumping/teloporting/running all over the place. so no one blocks when i fight them. the only time blocking happens is when you remember that one character combo setup.
you played ranked matches right? its all over the places in those random match ups they give
did you even consider or think about the fact that pretty much 99% of the players in ranked matches are bad players
why the fuck do people assume that what they did was right because the other guy is mashing and can't block. play real players, not just online scrubs.
i'm pretty bad at this game, but i sure do look like i'm on some pro level IFCYipes or JWong shit when i play retards who don't block anything

Also, none of my charaters can wave dash (doom, dorm, morrigan) pushblocking gives me a problem when close the gap. Dorm I play keep away so, it's not really his problem but doom and morrigan...might have to ditch them why are you trying to close the gap while playing a zoning team

a simple thing to do with Cap is to charging star right in their face the opponent will see the recovery animation and they'll try an hit you and when that anticipation happens throw out a Hyper.its hilarious or you could be an idiot like me an try to hyper charging star through everything insight

First use Shield Slash, and then Charging Star, when the shield is coming back. Annoys many of my friend with that move.
there is a really huge way to counter that: hold downback and wait.

Why would you even bother tethering if you can just surf the web on your phone?
battery. the 3G connection on my phone is nice, but the battery gets massacred by web usage -- browsing, IM, IRC, etc. That was the whole reason why i started tethering the connection to my laptop to begin with - I'd rather not have my phone drop dead.
Most places I'd be using this at anyways have wifi now anyways, so there's not a huge emphasis on this, I just having all grounds covered.
Anyway, can't wait to give this thing a test run once I get it. I'll let you know that goes.

AT&T actually has quite a good coverage, although I can't say that they are perfect. You can obviously opt to go with Verizon if AT&T isn't very good in your area.
Also, the weight and battery life of the iPad, as well the form factor makes this more portable and easily accessible to laptops. This is why the tablet form factor exists, really.
Coverage and speed doesn't mean shit without stability. I left them for metro and then later verizon, and I'm never looking back. Despite that, I'd like to add that Verizon's 3G option for this kinda sucks too. Horrible limitations, and it's very expensive, to boot. I'd rather just root my android and get an app for wireless tethering.
General usage, I'd still prefer using my computer, but the main thing I'm looking at here is battery life when traveling, since the computer's not going to last for 7-10 hour car trips.
Anyway, I pretty much decided what I'm going to do: Pick up a refurb first gen model, since the price dropped to 349. We'll see how that goes.

looking over things recently, i can see how this would be cool, but it's nothing but a damn money sink tbh. No internet kinda defeats the point in using this over my laptop, and i'm not in a university town or somewhere that I get wifi everywhere. So until I can tether this with my phone for 3G, no go.
And the 3G version may as well not exist. Fuck AT&T.
