Well, for classical guitar, I much prefer Latin pieces, like Romance de Espana or Espana Cani. Salsa, samba and tango style music are good as well. And to be honest, I don't really pay much attention to the musicians who played this kind of music, so I don't really have any favorite classical guitar player.
As for the guitar itself, I actually prefer steel string as I like how it sounds, but for personal usage, I use nylon stringed one cause I like fingering (why does it sound so dirty?). Fingering on steel stringed guitar hurts my fingers.
