Genre: drama, comedy, romance, slice of life

Takemoto Yuuta, Mayama Takumi, and Morita Shinobu are college students who share the small apartment. Even though they live in poverty, the three of them are able to obtain pleasure through small things in life. The story follows these characters' life stories as poor college students, as well as their love lives when a short but talented 18 year old girl called Hanamoto Hagumi appears. Ohmygah! Another topic that should already exist here and DOESN'T! Shame.
This is one of the best romance/dramas out there. So if you haven't bumped into it yet (wich is rare, since this is very well known), try it.
The anime is 2 seasons long (26 + 12 episodes).
The comedy is very good. (and is still good on the manga :))
The drama is also very good too (oh, the many times I got depressed watching it. Love it!!).
The Visuals are a very STRONG point of the anime. Beyong awesome, really.
And now I leave you with the 2 best endings EVER!! :D
Enjoy

The fact that we didn't have a topic on this is indeed quite disturbing. While I must addmit that I'm only watching it now (must have been brain-damaged in the past not to pick it up), I can already tell this baby is getting a 10/10 from me.
An amazing mix of comedy, romance and slice of life, wrapped up in a gorgeous audio-visual makeup.
Gonna probably write more in 5 episodes
edit: Watched it, fuken loved every single minute of it.
@Kuro - You'll be getting another rep point from me (for contributing to my favorite section) as soon as my quota cools down. Keep it up ... and don't 'lose' it this time.

HELL NO! It is NOTHING like Toradora. So if you're looking for something like that, you've come to the wrong place.

Yeah, it's not much of anything similar to Toradora!. I like to think of it as the quint-essential slife-of-life anime. The romance, the characterisation, and the comedy all flow with the characteristic slice-of-life genre. If you like slice-of-life it is a must watch, but if you don't care for that genre then don't even bother.

I both loved and hated this show, at first it grabs you thinking it is going to be a comedy but as the story continues character plots begin driving the story causing bumps along the road, namely second season.
One of the few shows I ever got emotional over. Probably why I hate it.
Also honestly I watched this after Ouran Host Club I think... so the connection of Tamaki was pretty easy and was the reason I loved the show, despite my dislike for certain characters and plot elements that I had disliked.

They made a Honey&Clover live-action movie. I watched it and it was a pale comparison to the anime series.

Season 1 was pretty good, albeit emotional. Then I watched season 2, and it tore a hole in my heart. ~_~
The only thing I disliked about this series is the OP songs. I find the vocals so damn annoying. I liked the rest of the songs though, and this is where I first heard of DEPAPEPE.

I don't think it is anything like toradora. Its probably more like a Nodame Cantabile if you are familiar with that series. It is pretty original and fun series. If you want to compare it to more recent anime, I would say it is as good as Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu. I haven't seen any series this season that are really worth watching except Major and maybe Regios, so you may as well take this chance and check out some older series you missed out on.

i watched this last 2 years(2007) and season 2 earlier in 2008...

I have always thought that the OP and ending songs to an anime make a good anime great. This is no exception. Loved it all around. This is coming from someone who worships Berserk Manga when I wake up in the morning.
