I heard it was an anime based on ROTK, and I love Chinese history/mythology, so that's cool.
Then I see it's about high school students. Well, maybe they will still keep the characters and intrigue.
And then, well wtf?
Bofu and Xuande are virtual incompetents. Fengxian is bisexual and wacko. Kongming is a nobody. As usual, Zhilong is a god somehow. Gongjin is almost as bumbling as Bofu. They put Jiang Bin in the series, over people like Boyue, Li Yan, Xiahou Ba, and Gongyuo?
Well, who knows....

It's japanese, and as everyone whose played Katamari knows, they have the best drugs ever made there. No more explination for their strange behavior is needed

Read Battle Vixens and realize that the manga is much nicer than the anime to and extreme when it comes to this series... and besides, the boobie bombs get fully shown in the manga.

I lost interest in Ikkitousen after 4 or 5 episodes, does it ever get really good? Same with Tenjoh Tenge(spelling?), quit after 5 or 6 episodes, does it get good?

It only took me 1 or so episodes to lose interest, so you are a greater person than I. I thought, since it is supposedly based on RTK, it would have intrigue and plotting, and not generally be absurd and ridiculous.

Both the mangas that this author has put out, Ikkitousen and Battle Club, have lost me in the plot area, lol. If it didn't have tits in it, I'd prob stop buying them, heh.

Downloading Dragon Destiny and as of episode one, I like how the characters are getting better stories. Sonsaku Hakufu wasn't introduced in the episode either, which kinda gives me hopes.

I never understood, why are Hakufu and her cousin so worthlessly incompetent if they are supposed to be the spirits of the Little Conquerer and Beautiful Zhou Lang?

I only had the anime, which I deleted because it was basically unwatchable. A better question might be why would you want to dl ikkitousen....

Honestly - I love Ikki Tousen ... both the Manga and the anime ...
The Manga's storyline is far better, and dosen't carry any discrepincies that the anime does...
But the anime (first season) is an awesome piece of Fanservice ... and has some of the sexiest and curvy fighters you'll ever see in a three Kingdoms Re-Hash
Dragon destiny is far better in terms of the action ... and pays far more attention to the storyline ... but still keeps that element of fanservice that drew so many fans to the original series ... personally - If you fail to see the simple aesthetic beauty this anime brings to the genre ... then you are seriously missing out ...

id say that in the manga you can see everything better and in more details like it was worked on far longer and in the anime its partly censored(ofcourse) so it also depends on your imagination when you read the manga or watch the anime^^
manga: drawings are betta and you are free to use your imagination for the haircolors, voices and so on

Got to say I liked Ikketousen...the fight scenes were good and I have to admit the boobs/bodys were GREAT. :oops: And it has some really cool character design...Hakufu is dumb as a door post but that's is kinda' her charm and I LOVE Mau-chan, the girl in the maid uniform with the eye patch.
The thing is though you have to watch the whole thing to see the developement of any of the characters and plot...well, what plot there is. :wink:

Btw, Ten Ten is good until you get to the bowling alley ep and then it just goes DOWN HILL.

Yer, the plot in Ikketousen is pretty shitty...but there actually is one, believe it or not. :o
Hahufu's developement from a ditzy new girl at school girl, with the old guard against her and their destiny...too Hakufu being a ditzy LEADER, with the old guard either dead or starting to accept the prophecy that Hakafu is the embodiment of the ULTIMATE leader.
Don't get me wrong here, I'm not trying to change your minds or spend hours discussing the merits of Ikketousen....This series is just a bit of fluff and can't really be seen as much more than that, so I do understand where you guys are coming from.
