It starts off pretty dark but it's a nice romance manga. It's rather heartwarming to watch Aikawa open up to guys again, and Daisuke to actually respect girls for a change. That blond girlfriend of Daisuke's is annoying as hell though.

I'm surprised I didn't see this thread when it started, considering I read the first volume over Summer, I believe. I'm glad that others have picked up on this fine manga. Shame that it seems that there isn't an official translation yet. (though another of the mangaka's works was licensed by Tokyopop) I should catch up on it in my free time. It is also odd that the mangaka's other stuff doesn't seem to be up to par. Go figure.

Damn that cliffhanger, this manga just dances on my heart, I've never seen a better moe character than Aikawa.

Yeah, it does feel like that kind of series. Although, Deep Love still holds the number one slot in that "genre" for me.

Is that so? Then I might check that out also ... if anyone gets around to scanlating the first volume.

Strange ... it didn't appear complete here when I clicked on "Search for all releases of this series". This is where I check for scanlations for just about anything. I suppose I should have also checked StopTazmo before jumping to conclusions ...

Anyway, it's sad that Bitter Virgin has such a long wait between chapters. After volume 3 is completed, we'll have a long wait for the next one because Solaris-SVU will be caught up.

Meh, SVU has some other projects that keep my interest while more BV chapters get made.
