Dance in the Vampire Bund

The anime has been announced for Dance in the Vampire Bund, originally a manga created by Nozomu Tamaki.

The story revolves around Mina Tepes, princess-ruler of all vampires, and her "protector," Akira. Like other vampires, Mina has been in hiding with her people for many years. Seeking to end centuries of isolation, Mina gains permission to create a special district for vampires, "The Bund", off the coast of Japan by paying off the national debt of the Japanese government. Mina then reveals to the world the existence of vampires and her desire for both races to live together. Tensions, however, run high as fearful humans and extremist vampire factions begin to interfere with Mina's wish for peace with the human world.

Looking forward to this one...since I enjoyed the manga that's been released so far.

I'm definitely excited for this. Shaft will make this show sexy as hell!

Vampire loli + Shaft = win. Shaft does like their lolis and they do make some epic fight scenes.

Watched the first episode. I have to say its pretty different from the manga. With only about 12 episode left it kinda gets me worried if the episodes would be enough to cover the manga storyline.

After the first episode I have this sinking feeling they are going to fuck it up.

So i just watched Ep one yesterday... And the start was way diff from the manga, so i don't know if i should be happy or sad!?


I love the Manga, and expected the same from the Anime, but then again i must remember that Anime never follow the Manga's storyline perfectly.... >.>

Overall it was not a bad Ep, and i am looking forward to more, i just hope it can give me the same impact the Manga has given me!

A lot of people love the manga and are excited about the anime, but all I ever hear is "LOLI VAMPIRE!" Is there more to the show than that? I can understand if there isn't (the idea of a loli vampire greatly turns me on), but I'd to know if there's more to the series than getting a boner.

Teenagers fighting, school uniforms, transformations, more or less politics, abductions, romance-like relationship...

I guess it would be just your everyday manga if it weren't for Mina and her idea of Bund.

Despite that, I still love the manga (yes, IT'S A LOLI VAMPIRE, OHMYGAWD!).

just watched it earlier today..its very interesting.. i went to read the manga soon after.. >.<

1st time i ever heard of a loli mina though.. and what can i say.. meh likey~

and somewhere near the end of the episode i Shouted "Lelouch!!!" heh~

There is one positive thing for those that dislike the anime
A whole wave of Dance in the Vampire Bund doujins would be released, hopefully we would see more of Mina Tepes in all of her loli glory.

The first episode completely took me by surprise. Not that I didn't enjoy it, but it was really far off from what I expected the series to start off with. I hope Studio DEEN doesn't fuck this great series up.

FYI, ShaggyJebus, I'm not watching the show just because of, "OMG, LOLI VAMPIRE!" I like this series because it has great characters, plot, and development.

That's good to know. I'll probably pick it up then. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't just fap material. I like fapping, but I can't watch an entire show just to fap.

If you read the manga, it's far from just your everyday ecchi material. It's got quite a serious plot regarding the introduction of vampires into modern society as well as vampire politics with a smack of romance and humor.
