[Locked] Reputation

A yes from me. At least a major change is in order, as the current system can be easily abused and whatnot.

Ive gotten used to it not being there, so it really does not matter to me but now im gonna see so much "you deserve rep for this" type of replies on half the forums.

Don't really need rep system,although it was just used for playing the ability,just like what Z[NO] FUTURE(sorry if I mispelled the username) did in IB. He wants -reps .

YES. Or at least change it so people don't abuse it.

By using these "thank you points", I think it will have a different effect than reputation

Reputation has this "high and mighty" aura if noobs look at someones rep, but "thank you points" will make people think this guy is a helpful guy, a dependable person. and I can't imagine people going "drama queen" because someone is thanked more than any other person.

but it all depends on the attitude of the people. If the majority still think that more "thank you points" means you're in a higher hierarchy, then we shouldn't use it at all.

But most sites that I have seen that use this system, works fine without so much drama. and I believe the people of FAKKU can also work this out fine.

Like I posted in the other thread, a Thanks Button, maybe with the function that you can see the whole post only if you click the button

I would like a new system, or no system. Truely, I've always been fond of Facepunch's system, and it's always worked quite well. (ex.)

A simple versoin of that would be awesome. But hey, If it's too complex for now, I can understand. Inwhich case, no system please.

The Fakku community can't handle the rep-system, im all for disabling it.

Also, since im gonna start merging threads in the upload-section having rep back will produce alot of whine, due to whoever gets the OP gets the rep, that i can live without.

Unless the rep point serves for something else other than as a simple "thank you point", I see no reason as to return it to FAKKU. So I vote for Yes, it should be disabled.... until further improvements are made
