Monster Hunter Tri.

SO any MH fans here? I'm personaly excited for this release which I think is april 20th in US.

SO from what I seen so far this new monster on the cover is pretty damn large and the whole underwater combat is something totally new for the MH series.

I've loved the series so far but for the Wii is kinda weird...Its only been on ps2 and psp.

Another thing that looks good about this is that the new graphics are amazing and the new areas which area alot more detailed then psp.

Also there is some new wpn called the switch axe. I think it swithches from axe to greatsword and that would be kinda badass to switch wpns on the go.

I seen a cpl new monsters and I didn't catch the names yet but its gonna be good for big MH fans.


so I'm going to hook up the Wii in the living room when this game comes out

Looking forward to MH Tri also. The switch axe looks awesome, but I have to wonder how the "axe" part is different from the greatsword (besides the fact that one is a sword and the other's an axe =P) Underwater fights seem interesting too, another new element to explore ^w^

Well I called the gamestop and the controller is 20$ US dollars. I thought it'd be like a xbox controller and be like 65 >.> shit 'm goin today to trade in some shit and Pre-order lol...it comes out tommrrow but I get a poster and they Gonna save me a conroller that gets released along with the game so I'm excited!!!

I didn't feel like spending the extra money for the controller, so I'll be playing with the wiimote/nunchuk combo.


Also, USB keyboard works for online chat ingame.

What systems it this game for... Obviously the Wii, but any others?

Actaully its only for Wii...Kinda disappointing though....SHould have been for all systems...but Wiii si fine only good game they've had for a long time though >.>

Now i see that this is Monster Hunter "3", does this mean their were 2 others. If so, were they for the Wii as well?

Monster Hunter 3 and Monster Hunter Tri are the same game.
