With the Summer season of anime coming up just around the corner, there are a few good anime to note, but this is by far the one I'm most interested in, along with Strike Witches 2 of course. So without further ado, I present to you...

Recommended Fansubbing Group: Unlimited Translation Works
Summary: Adaptation of Daisuke & Shoji Satou’s manga.
The world is over taken with a deadly “disease” that turns people who get bitten into the living dead. In Japan, a group of students and the school nurse stick together and try to survive the wide spread chaos.
Madhouse, zombies, nail guns, a hot teenage Kendo master and to top it all off fanservice?! What's not to love? I'm a hardcore fan of the manga, and I definitely recommend to everyone and anyone to watch this anime, it's going to be one of the better ones coming up this summer season. If my opinion won't sway you, TehMikuruSlave is also jumping from excitement to see this, and by the command of the GarFest ruler, he demands that you watch this anime!
Raze's very own Unlimited Translation Works is planning to Sub High-School of the Dead.

The second title on the list is High-School of the Dead, adapted from the manga with the same name. It is set in a world stricken with a deadly disease that turns its bitten victims into the living dead, and focuses on a group of weapon-savvy high-school students struggling to stay alive. There will be gore, attractive women, and lots of adrenaline.

Manga finally comes off of hiatus and the anime gets ready to start, I can only hope there isn't a bunch of shitty filler episodes...there probably will but I can only hope the filler isn't that bad.

Can not fucking wait, the animation quality looks pretty damn good. I reckon they'll follow a bit of the manga story at the start and then eventually go onto some original material, which I'm fine with, the story isn't exactly balls burstingly amazing, and I reckon they'd be able to keep things good exciting even without the manga material.
Lets hope this turns out to be a golden anime.

Anything with the undead is always a must see for me. I'm so glad HSD is finally getting an anime.

This douche has really ticked me off for the little time he gotten too...
Can't wait for the anime, and while it's airing I hope the manga picks up the pace. If the anime is as good as the manga then I'll be hoping for a season 2.

The teacher is a total douchebag, but let's not spoil anything for the people who aren't reading the manga. In any case, it will be full of awesome on many levels if not for any other reason than the fact it's done by Madhouse. Well animated bouncing tits are always welcome.

Question: Anyone else get a distinct Zombieland / L4D / World War Z vibe from this manga. I mean yeah it's about zombies and the like so that is obvious, but it seemed almost inspired by them.

I can't wait til July *drool* but I really hope they keep in that little reference to Shawn of the Dead in the anime.

I am disappoint. It looks like their breasts all shrank a cup size or two.

Crazy levels of breast reduction.I hate it.
LoL at you two.Well having overly big breasted HighSchool students running for their life from zombies will be pretty much be mocked and not taken seriously,I know I will not appreciated a good anime if the girls all have gigantic breast that will look like a total comedy sketch.

I really loved this series when I first read it about a year and a half ago. The first time I saw it uploaded on the history page of mangaupdates I thought, "well this is an awkward new series. It's by Inazuma too lol, wonder how this will play out." This series did not disappoint and I'm really hoping that this anime does not disappoint either.

Oh this is a pretty good series indeed. I can't help but not love every bit of it because I'm a zombie killing kind of guy. As far as I've gotten into the story it seems to still be as good as the first. I plan on reading it more and more over this summer.
If you like manga - Good read
If you like seeing zombie carnage - Great read!
