That's interesting. I've never actually played a crossover game but I had thought each series keeps their style, not one adopting the others style.

I like it that way. I can't wait to play Tekken characters in a SF style.

So apparently there will be two different games, one by Capcom and one by Namco.
Capcom will feature more of a SF style. While Namco will be based on the Tekken style.


I am the only one who thinks that they just seem to be trying too hard to cash in now on the whole crossover thing? Tatsunoko vs. Capcom was a nice tease before they annouced MVC3, but what's next Capcom vs. Marvel vs. Tekken vs Virtual Fighter vs. Battle Arena Toshinden vs. Star Wars: Masters of Teras Kasi ?

I knew it was completely possible to adapt tekken characters to 2d, but i'm not so sure about the other way around.

SF characters have limited moves, but I guess the creators will make new ones for the 3d series.

I was never much of a street fighter player. My heart has always been loving Tekken ever since i was a lil kid and though chun li was always my fav from SF, nina was always my role model ^_^ lol

This is going to be a bitch to do properly...First you have the limited move set from the street fighter cast going into the world of tekken ,so your going to have to expand their physical move list by a HUGE margin..second issue is all the projectile attacks featured in street fighter , along with signature moves that are known for extended range...they will either have to butcher these moves to make it balanced , or butcher the physical skills of the street fighter cast to make it balanced..cause if they don't the SF cast will have an exaggerated advantage over the tekken cast,and I suppose last but not least is how the two games will be marketed..will the two games be released at the same time ,and thus forced to compete in the market..or will one or both be rushed in a race to the finish thus giving us an unpolished fighter..honestly im not holding my breathe on this...the capcom street fighter VS tekken could be done fairly easily...but bringing the signature moves ,abilities ,and power of the SF cast into tekken territory ?..I just don't see it being done ,with positive results

I'm really enjoying SSF4, and I've always thought Tekken looked sorta cool. This game looks like it could be pretty epic, as long as they have my favourite street fight, Juri

I've said this alot today, but I'm looking forward to both games and I'll probably getting both since I enjoy both fighting games equally as much. The early show of the SFxT looked really good, so I hope to see something from Namco soon.

Can't wait to see how Capcom does Tekken, and Namco does Capcom. It should make for a truly interesting experience.

I'm waiting for the Character List.

I'm beginning to think that not every character will make it. Basically the well-known and iconic characters will obviously make it.

I do have a question: Is this the first time a cross-over game has been made 2 different ways?

As far as I know, yes it is the first time. It'll probably be a while before we get a character roster. I mean this game was like, just announced-ish.

What I really want to see is ark system works vs capcom or snk vs capcom.

I was never too big on tekken, but of course that doesn't mean I dislike it. I'll still pick this game up along with MvC3.
