Shinryaku! Ika Musume (Season 2 Now Airing - Fall 2011)

Ika-Musume is so damn cute, and I especially loved the moments when she was trying her best to conquer the restaurant, but failed miserably when she was coerced into working for the restaurant. Ika-Musume does have a very important goal: to protect the ocean and restore it to it's former glory, but she's definitely in a little bit over her head with her plan to do this by taking over the whole world. I giggled when Eiko told her how many people were on Earth, and how she would have to deal with the whole army. She's definitely got her work cut out for her.

However, Ika-Musume's tentacles are awesome. I loved the sequence when she was showing them off, and I laughed when her tentacles could even put a thin piece of thread through a needle. She definitely has the potential to stir up some trouble.

The second part of the episode was really cute, especially when Takeru tried to be a squid as well, and went through all of the trouble to make his costume. I really daww'd up, though, when Ika thought that it had died, and she gave the costume a proper burial at sea. I hope that we get more touching moments like that.

The last part was definitely my favorite, though. It was kinda gross/kinda funny to see Ika spit up ink, and I had no idea that squid ink was served up as a dish. Anyways, when Ika decided since it was a rainy day she might as well take over, I wasn't sure what was going to happen to the gang, but Chizuru stepped in and completely stopped Ika, which was awesome. Ika now seems pretty obedient to Chizuru, but maybe she will work up the confidence to challenger her again someday.

The first part was very funny, with the introduction of the lifeguard, Gorou, (who was very ripped, btw). It was funny to first see Ika-Musume and Gorou start out as comrades of the ocean, but by the end, Ika wanted her title back, and swore to be life long enemies. I can't wait to see more of them interacting with each other.

The second part of the episode was very cute. It was amusing to see Ika discover what it was like to have a birthday, especially when she was fighting with the golden streamer and struggled with blowing out her candles. I really laughed when she ended up ruining her cake with squid ink, but also a little sad, seeing as how that cake looked oh so good. The fireworks display was also amusing, and I laughed when Ika accidentally caught herself on fire, and Gorou had to cool her off. It was a nice scene of the group in the end, though, when all of the fireworks were in the sky.

The last part of this episode was definitely my favorite, though. Sanae seemed like a regular girl at first, with her very cute dog, Alex, but she turned out to be something much more. Before I get into that, however, I thought that Ika was very cute when she was being treated like a dog by Chizuru.

Anyways, I really like the fact that Sanae is obsessed with Ika, and the cosplay shoot with Ika was very funny. I loved it when Sanae was printing out all of the pictures, and Ika had pretty much the same reaction in all of them. I can't wait to see more of her in the next episode.

The first part was awesome, especially when Ika was scaring off the gang with her glowing squid body, (which is also a really cool ability). I also laughed when Sanae revealed that her goal was to get Ika scared so she could hold her and comfort her. I really like Sanae. :)

The second part definitely had some awesome reaction faces from Ika, especially when she was alarmed at all of her natural enemies, (and a bad ass banana), were being dominated by humanity).

The last part was definitely my favorite, though, with the introduction of Nagisa. I loved how Ika was so happy that she found someone else who was afraid of her, and it's going to be really interesting to see those two interact in the future.
