Black Lagoon Back For a Third Season!

Summary: Okajima Rokuro is a Japanese businessman…in a town full of Japanese businessmen. His normal day consists of social drinking with clients and being kicked around by his bosses. He finally gets a break though, as he’s sent by his company to the tropical seas of Eastern China to deliver a disc…only his boat gets hijacked by a band of mercenaries that were hired to steal it. “Rock” (as he is newly dubbed by his captors) catches the interest of the only female merc “Revy” as she thinks he’s worth a ransom, taking him hostage. However, the disc turns out to be more trouble than its worth, and complicates things both for Rock, and the mercenaries known as Black Lagoon.

Dude, I can't believe Black Lagoon is going for a third season... guns, gore, and girls is back for a third shot. This is a must see anime. I recommend to all those who haven't watched Black Lagoon, watch now. I can only imagine at the crazy war action that's going to take place and the battle of human morals and egos in the face of carnage. This is gonna be great.

I think some of the lyrics is missing the refrain at certain points. Does anyone think that the song "Red Fraction" by MELL will be used as the OP song? I hope they do because it's a sick song.

You guys sure there is going to be a 3rd season I mean the manga series hasn't really started much of a new arc yet. I mean sure Roberta comes back and there is also a new maid girl showing up that looks like that momo girl who serves under Aizen from Bleach but this girl uses dual mini shotguns and a grenade launcher and knifed a guy in the crotch. Point trying to make here is that I don't see it happening any time soon since volume 8 hasn't come out to finish this arc yet.

It's been green lit for production. It says so on the jacket cover of the novel.

The 8th volume of the manga was released last friday.

You guys freaked me out. For a minute there I was like "Shit I only have the first season!" But apparently these seasons are only 12 episodes long instead of being 24-25 and I already have all 24.

But on topic: I guess the ending wasn't epic enough and they want to do more, well if they can top that then go for it but I believe an anime really should end when the main character becomes fully explored and you know his personality and he comes to grips with an emotional subject or completes his main objective.

Like I said story still isn't done yet. Also that ending at 24 wasn't enough. So more action to come and returning characters. Roberta also goes crazy and popping pills. Damn she looked fine when she wears casual clothing. Besides Eda never revealed much about ehr job with the CIA, and this arc actually has her getting involved with her duty as a CIA agent.

I'm currently following the Black Lagoon series, since I was lucky enough to find the first season in a boscos. But I wish Black Lagoon was a little more serious like Tokko.

Why? It is already pretty serious to a certain extent, but if it was too serious then it wouldn't be enjoyable. The point is to watch a ton of action while having some sad things involved. At teh same time adding a bit of snappy remarks, jokes, and sequences make it humorous. The main point of this sereis is to be like an Action Film, too much seriousness kills it.

I don't care what yall say... Black Lagoon rocks. And for a third season, I'm going for it.
