People, we have a trailer.
I know I made a thread for this game before, but it's nowhere to be found on neither my profile nor the masterlist. So, I'm just gonna assume that it was wiped from existence during one of the times that the forums were set back by a month or two.
If you want to see the extended trailer with some gameplay. Type 66.194.172.6 (the IP address shown in the trailer) into your URL and use the word father as the host name. there's only a few brief shots of gameplay footage, but it's still pretty cool to see.

The only way I can see Gearbox messing this game up is if they actually listen to the fanboys raving that want to play as the aliens. I'd rather Gearbox just focus the game entirely on the campaign and coop and completely leave out competitive multiplayer if it means the game would be better as a whole. If you want to play as a Xenomorph, go buy AVP. I've been waiting for this game since early 2008 and I'd be damned if it gets ruined now at the request of a bunch of idiots.

hell yeah...this is a game to only play as the marines. and have online co-op for it too. thats exactly what this game needs, now that I've seen it I want to play it.
one question though will it be platform or will it just be PC?

It was originally announced as a cross platform game. For both the PS3 and 360 in addition to PC.

i want to play this soooooo bad.... this looks way better than AvP... not saying it wasn't bad but this game looks like its the real deal...

It's kinda funny because i watched Aliens yesterday, and when i saw this topic I couldn't help but smile ^^. Anyway can't wait for it, I still play AvP1 and AvP2 from time to time.

Nope, they said it's the same planet. Well nuclear exposion was "just" 30 km radius so we can assume that some pods survived. They stetching it, but well 20 Century Fox agreed to this so I suppose we should too.

I suppose. But in the movie, it was like only one colony on the planet in the first place. This is gonna hang over my head for the rest of the day now.
