[Anime] A Certain Magical Index
0
In a world where science clarifies supernatural powers. In a huge college that has power development in its curriculum. To a resident high school student, Kamijou Touma, a pure white sister appears. She calls herself "Index" and says that sorcerers are chasing her. Thus, Kamijou Touma enters the world of the occult.
I personally am looking forward to this series. Why? Because I love the concept for the setting and the main characters ability, I feel like it could be expanded to a whole different horizon. It's almost similar to Taiga's Mo power in MxO. I'm usually critical of animes coming out before the manga has even established a storyline, but for this one, I feel like it might be that one sleeper hit. The little big one, kinda like Shigofumi, or Baccano!, well maybe not as good as Baccano! but whatevv.

Hmmm looks interesting. There's too much to watch! I think that's a good thing though...
EDIT: I watched the first two episodes and I like it. Looks great and the action was pretty cool. Index is cute too.

This series has definitely kicked off to a great start. The animation, plot progression, voice acting, all top-notch. Eagerly awaiting the third episode done by none other than the kick-ass fansub group Eclipse.

Somehow when I first watched this it reminded me of a Shakugan no Shana series (maybe because of Mami Kawada?). Anywho, so far this series started strong for me and became very interesting shortly after.
It's like... Mx0 the anime (which of course never ever happened). I lol'd at the loli-teacher drinking beer and smoking. Index is fun too

I hope they do a railgun spin-off next season or something. That'd be great.

Holy god this is awesome, I'd never even heard of this until I saw it on eclipses website. I'm so fortunate I was bored enough to check random bookmarks ;_;

That is the coolest thing ever. Smoking alcoholic loli teacher is a loli. LULZ I especially love how it goes completely unexplained. Ah anime, it's such a rascal.

She's awesome. She's the reason I started the series.

She's fucking awesome. A loli adult who teaches, smokes, and drinks beer like nothing, and has a cute voice to boot. I'm loving this show with each episode. Leastwise, it's not in the weirdzone like SnS was.

While finishing up To aru Kagaku no Railgun, I decided to rewatch To aru Majutsu no Index. Least to say, I actually like this show as the only department the anime failed in was the plotholes. But, as I take it from wikipedia and from the way the series ended, there will be a second season after To aru Kagaku no Railgun finishes airing. Hopefully that will answer some of the questions and fill in the plotholes in this season.

I don't mind them explaining things, but there's too much shit going on in the first series that went unexplained, like Aleister Crowley's goals, the purpose of Academy City, and the various magic factions out there.
