I just saw some footage of games and apps, looks pretty sweet, but I'll wait a month after the release though, just to make sure I'll have more cash on games
- It's not nearly as bulky as what you see in the photos. It feels like a DS Lite in your hands, which is excellent.
- The analog thumbstick is a joy to use.
- The battery life isn't as bad as what Nintendo says. I can play for 5 hours with 3D on, and the battery will still be green.
- The 3D actually works.
- The 3D isn't a gimmick.
- The 3D isn't not the type that pops out at you, but it's like seeing Avatar in the cinemas. It adds depth to the picture.
- It doesn't sound exciting, but it really is quite cool and it works. If you turn it off and turn it back on you can instantly see the difference.
- The 3D sweet spot is not as tight as you think, but it's not huge either. If you look at it side on the effect goes away.
- Only the person playing can see the 3D.
- I didn't get an eye-ache or any form of discomfort after playing it from fully charged until the battery dies.
- The camera is absolutely terrible, but the 3D photos are awesome.
- If you're playing a DS game (I tried Pokemon White), you can't turn on the 3D. Turning it on does nothing.
- The Augmented Reality is SOOOOOO AWESOME. This and the gyroscope will add so much potential for developers. It's like the DS adding a touch screen.
