A Certain Scientific Railgun ... the anime !?

Really looking foward to this.

I lust hope they relate it well with "To aru majutsu no index"
Since To Aru Kagaku no Railgun is supposed to be along the same time line, it would be really interesting to try watching the two series over again following a corresponding sequence of events and watching the episodes in the correct order. Know what i mean?

I doubt that would really happen, the only thing you can relate is the existence of Kamijyo Touma.

If you put railgun and index into the same visual novel, it would be like playing different routes.

Thought that this thing might as well serve as a discussion topic so I asked for it to be moved.

Ep 1 already aired and was mostly comedy/service-oriented with no real plot in sight. Not that I mind since it had a very awesome shower scene ...

After watching this episode, I can definetely say that this is my favorite first episode so far of the three series' I've seen. I'm coming to like animated Saten a lot.

The ED is pretty good, reminds me Elementar Gerard's somewhat.

It was a nice start. Let's just hope the whole arc doesn't get shot to hell with talking heads when things get serious.

I'm not expecting anything serious from this... unless it delves deeper into Biribiri's past and the other biribiris.

well, it will probably follow the manga story closely, so maybe the answer is yes. and 1st episode is definitely a "fun" "service" episode

Judgement lawl, well it's pretty interesting and will continue to watch, but i'm bit disappointed since it does not continue where Index left; thou the ED catched my interest cuz that guy (i can't remember his name; Touma was it?) can be seen for few secs.

well, for starters, you know that this is a very different from Index. so you won't see Styl, and all bunch of magicians. Only scientist and Esper power in this anime.

and like is said in my other post up there. If this series was a VN, This is Misaka's Route. :P And yes, Touma will probably show up as Cameo, since Railgun's protagonist is Misaka not Touma. :)

The first episode got the job done.

I noticed a lil love for Shakugan no Shana during the scene where they were at the crepe shop. Too me a while to noticed Tora Dora's cast being included too, which surprises me knowing that i gave up on it at the 5th episode ( just couldn't get the motivation to watch it anymore)

Not bad, i'll continue till it boreds me or survives the entire series.

Yuri ain't my cup of tea, but this may just be the exception.

Good first ep, shower scene was perfect! :) And even without any plot it was enjoyable and gave some nice lulz.
Just hoping it doesn't get screwed into character arcs like Index.

I liked the first episode, gave me an impression on what to expect from this series. The shower scene was the bomb.

Well...I just got done watching the first episode...and I simply adored it!
It had everything I could possibly want in a show: action, cute girls, and comedic situations. Even though I never watched Index, it was very easy to connect with all of the characters, which was another plus.

Overall, it had an awesome start and I can't wait for the next episode.

Been considering it for a while now, but I'll be picking this up soon.

I liked this episode as I finally got around to watching it. I just hope (like many others) that it doesn't devolve into TaMnI where there so many plotholes you could run it through a sieve.
