Amagami SS

Oh god, that sounds horrible. I'm glad that we got the penguin and cat cosplay then.

At first I was all like SPOILER THAT SHIT YO! But then I remembered that the game is for PS and not translated. D:

I was pleasantly surprised by this arc as a whole, I didn't like the narrator or Sae's voice at the start of it but they somehow grew a bit on me in these 4 episodes. The narrator more than Sae's voice though.
As for the ending, was I the only one that thought Jun was acting like a real creep when pretending to film Sae? It just hit me that way somehow and kinda ruined the mood, up to that point everything had was just really cute. I honestly think that this series is kinda realistic compared to other series, most people don't have to go through all the drama and paranormal shit IRL that other series use.
Overall it was a cute arc and I must say that I somehow like this more care-free, not that heavy-on-the-drama kinda style that most of these kinda stories use.

I like in Morishima arc, Childhood friend Arc, and always be the psycho aya-chan. ^^

All I can say is that the prinny and neko costumes looked cute. Perhaps I should try looking for them somewhere, if I am really keen on participating in some mascot or cosplay event.

The hentai-part of my mind suspects that a threesome relationship is in the making, as suggested by Sae's ending in the anime. ^_^;;

Episode 12 was good. And the ending part was a nice, cute touch.



Looking forward to the next girl angle.

I honestly wonder why teenage pregnancy would be considered a Good End. I mean, that kind of makes Jun look like some irresponsible hentai lead character.

About episode 12:

Who said he was irresponsible. let's not look at it from the public point a view, but from a closer point a view. The common public sees it as a negative thing, but what about the feelings of both Jun and Sae, and if you looked at the picture Sae is happy, and there's no way she could be happy if Jun is an irresponsible hentai lead character... >_>

and a Teen can mean that she's actually 18 or 19, because in the game it's after they graduate. The age was never implied, but she looks the same as before the ending, only a bit higher... lol

It's a just a comparison dammit. Though it was admittedly an over-exaggeration.

I don't know about your experiences, but since I know people who had teen pregnancies which wound up not turning out well for anyone ... well, maybe that colored my view here. They certainly didn't wind up in "lovey-dovey land".



Because we can totally tell Sae's age from that picture, right? If she looks the same without the "years later" context, naturally I'm going to assume that she's not much older there. I certainly wouldn't place her past the age of 24.

I got all serious about it. XD, cause people was like almost trolling in there, almost everytime there's a guy, who actually hates a character because the characters preference.... lol

It's alright. If you like a character, you naturally feel like defending them from "attackers".

Well..this week's episode began the Nanasaki Ai arc...and I don't know if it's too early to say this or not, but I'm really falling for Ai.

Overall, this was a solid start to Ai's arc, and I'm really excited about how this arc is going to go.

Was relieved at first not having to hear a narrator ^^

Overall, I loved this episode, Nanasaki is amazing, I just love her attitude and smile, I am really going to enjoy this arc. I still love Sae the most though. ^^


oh and the ED song, very nice!

Last scene of Sae's arc was weird, otherwise a cute arc and lesbian couple were hot.

Great start to Ai's story eagerly waiting to see how it unfolds.

I knew it! I just knew I would love Ai! She has the most peculiar character I've seen in this series so far. Can't wait next week.

Ai opened up a lot faster than I expected she would. Many of the other girls don't become so friendly until episode 2 of their arc. This leads me to believe she is going to have a dramatic episode with a lot of back story or something to that effect.

I like her name though, it isn't an uncommon name but I still haven't met anyone with that name. Ai in Japanese means "Love" in the noun sense of the word. It can also mean indigo depending on how she spells it - that makes it pretty imo.

Amagami SS has been one of my most favorite series of this summer compared to the others.

Morishima Haruka has become my second most loved anime girl in my life after I watched it.

And as for the arcs:


Morishima Haruka's arc is the best one for me if compared with the others and man it was cute for her to get jealous of seeing Junichi talking with other girls or seeing other girls in swimsuit (even though he didn't care about the others except for her). Her want to be seen is a little extreme though, like ''Why didn't you peek'' and then he was like ''Crap, I should have peeked''(lol). And the ending was awesome, there are only a few animes which shows such awesome endings.

Tanamachi Kaoru's arc was pretty good, her looks were a complete win with the maid outfit, the bellybutton kissing scene was something new to me though. And the kissing on above the glass floor at the tower was epic as well but the ending was pretty normal to me though, they could have made it better.

Nakate Sae's arc was really good, I don't get why people are complaining about her voice cause its completely befitting of her, take Hinata from Naruto for example.
As for the narrator, his voice wasn't all that bad but it definitely wasn't a good one either. The swimsuit scenes were pretty good and Miya leaving scratch marks Junichi's face made me lol. Its hard to believe that Sae is good at sewing though. And it seems that I am the only one who thinks that Junichi and Sae should have won the best couple's contest, although the prize for that made it all better and since it was Hibiki and Haruka who won the contest, I didn't feel all that bad about it because they looked really cute together.

As for Nanasaki Ai's arc, I am yet to see its first episode because of my lack of free time but it probably will turn out to be another epic arc. Also this is the first romantic anime without action that I've watched, I got a little interested and watched the first episode and then something caught me and I then watched all the other available episodes like crazy.

Also, when I watched this anime, I realized that I had a weird smile on my face all the while that I probably didn't have before and as you may have guessed, I haven't played the game but I do wish to do so.

Sorry if I said a little too much when half of the anime has already come out and again sorry for the wall of text I tried using the spoilers but it didn't work (more like I don't know how to use it).
