I like this arc so far. Sae is very cute, and is my favorite character so far. ^_^

Hehe. For me, I see more of myself in Sae, (since I can be a pretty shy girl myself, but I am starting to become a bit more outgoing). I kind of see a younger version of myself through her, so that's probably why I like this arc so much.

Don't get me wrong; Amagami is a nice anime title in my opinion and I do enjoy watching the various episodes, but it does get a little weird seeing the male protagonist in so many arcs. I don't know how to put it across clearly in words, but perhaps it is something like "involuntary cheating", especially since the characters seem to have forgotten what has transpired previously... or rather said events did not occur.

Then again, it is something like playing visual novels, where one continues from a particular save point and making different decisions.

Indeed, I did say that it was something like a visual novel, but looking back, it appears we can't make the decisions in this particular visual novel. The word "replay" comes to mind, watching the experiences of others, such as that of Starcraft 2? :D

And here's to wondering if there will be a secret character route, which is possible through the release of OVAs and DVD specials. Due to the worksafe nature of Amagami, I doubt there will be a harem route. :D

The OVAs are already confirmed to be one for each of the current girls.

Though there might be specials or additional OAVs depending on the success.

Just watched episode 11...

Spoiler:
Gah, should I put these in a spoiler? Most of you have watched it already.

- Another development episode, which went smoothly.
- The date was nice, which pushed things higher in terms of relationship.
- Hopefully the DVD has a no-narrator feature for 8-12. Not saying it's bad but it would be better if the narrator didn't butt in the good scenes.
- Maid outfit for Sae was cute, and I have to agree Kaoru doesn't fit in the French Maid costume. Though a simple apron will do for her.


Can't wait for episode 12. But I'll miss Sae :)

Morishima haruka is still my favorite. This was confirmed when she butted in during Junichi's lunch.

Does Sae's ending song remind anyone else of the ED to School Rumble? Not in terms of lyrics but musically?

senpai... sae-chan... Senpai... Sae-chan...SENPAI...SAE-CHAN...SENAPI!!!...SAE-CHAN!!!

Well, I just watched the last episode of Sae's arc, and it was one of the cutest things that I've ever seen.
Spoiler:

First, I thought that the resteurant scene was really adorable, and it was noble of the two of them to try to finish off that giant parfait. And, for some reason, Junichi really looks good in purple...

Second, the couple's contest was awesome. Haruka and Hibiki were so cute together, and Umehara with his fish was hysterical. However, Junichi and Sae were just so beautiful together, and I couldn't believe that Sae could design and sew so gorgeous pieces; she really had talent. I just loved how much they glowed on stage, and even though they lost to Haruka and Hibiki, I think that they ended up with the better reward.

As for the movie scene, Sae was showing off that glamorous body wonderfully. Junichi is such a lucky man. And, I was glad to see him get the guts to tell her that he liked her, and even the kiss was adorable.

And the end I just laughed at the three of them having fun together, and smiled, knowing that they will definitely be a happy family.


This arc was definitely better than I thought it was going to be, and I believe that I actually enjoyed it more than Kaoru's, (but not more than Haruka's). Ai seems like a tough, strong-willed girl, so I'm really curious as to how her arc is going to begin next week.

That's not the real ending for the BEST end from the game.

The BEst End is SAe turning into a teen mom, pregnant.

-Producers might think that's a risque scene, so they omit it.

This weird ending where Jun suddenly have a Director obssesion is non existent in the game

I never knew Sae was into gothic lolita fashion... or was it just a coincidence? Anyway, Sae's Arc to me was better than Kaoru's; the relationship between her and Junichi is so natural in an odd way, even I am at lost of words. Best part of this episode is "confession on the movie theater" scene and the moment deep throat finally stop commentating.


Can't wait for Ai's Arc, I love her character w/c will be interesting.... considering how they would end up a couple.

That makes more sense.

I mean that just seemed highly random, and just a chance to show the girls in something cute.

But it also didn't fit in with the rest either so it seemed off.

Sae in Gothic Lolita is pure win. I was expecting a better ending though. Messed up the arc if you ask me. I enjoyed it nevertheless and I am now eagerly awaiting next week's.

I am pleased with the ending, Sae is so adorable. I might have liked to see that one ending, the teen mom ending. But either way, I liked the end. Sae's arc has ended, and now its time for a new arc to begin, lets see what awaits.

The best ending is knocking up a high schooler!?!

"Congrats! You just got a high schooler pregnant! Sure she's the same age as your sister, but hey your going to be a father - something your friends can't boast about! Buy our next game,Amagami SS - Sae After, to see Jun struggle to support a family, Sae consider putting the baby up for adoption, and watch as their relationship falls apart as Jun turns to alcohol to forget about his horrible decision not to use protection!"
