I think episode 4 is really where you will be able to tell if the anime is going to be a decent adaption or a bust because that's the chapter that really sealed the deal for the light novel and made a nice pivot point in the light novel.
So if episode 4 is done well, it should be a good indication for the series. If it fails to perform, it'll be a bust for the rest of it.

it's a good anime,
the story is pretty interesting, the characters are good except Issei itself.

I initially came here for the asses and tits but it turns out this anime has more to offer than the usual stuff. + All the girls are enjoyable to watch in both physiques and personality.
Episode 4 was really good, I like how they're using chess as an analogy. Ep 5 will obviously be our MC going Super Saiyan.

Why is it that people from the church (or once affiliated with the church as the case with Fallen Angels) are always complete asshole scumbags? It's not just Highschool DxD, but pretty much every other anime out there... it's quite a weird stereotype.

As for why churches tend to be evil, well, there's probably still some animosity from having that religion semi-forced on them after WW2. Not to mention those annoying door-to-door Bible "salesmen".

this anime has more to offer than i expected i fist watched it and saw massive fap value but the characters are so heartwarming that you just can't help but to get invested in their journey, i can't wait to see how powerful yuki will become.
