[Anime] Highschool DxD (2nd Season Announced)

at first I thought it looked like Zero's Armor, but after you posted that, it really does look like that. Lol

Yes, so want a season 2 of this. Can't agree more.

I also noticed that this episode appeared to have lower quality.



I actually did not expect that to happen with his Sacred Gear.



Did I mention yet how there needs to be a Season 2?

I'm glad the series ended with a kiss of the main heroines. It always pisses me off in these types of anime where they have one guy surrounded by girls but he never seals the deal in any way shape or form. I mean when Rias wanted him to take her virginity he didn't hesitate and went straight to work. If it hadn't been for that messenger lady trying to stop them Issei would have got his thing wet.

Watched the last episode.

If I had two words to describe it, it would be "Utter Disappointment."

The animation quality was crap.

They completely and pointlessly cut Rias father and even altered who said certain important things to keep him out of the series for whatever fucking reason.

They actually had him sit there for 5 seconds talking just so the count would end. Fucking ridiculous as they don't even explain the downside of him using that technique, which is that he would be unable to use his power for two weeks. Not to mention this makes him look like a fucking idiot for just standing there which is pointless as the actual scene from the novel (it stop prematurely because his body can't take it) makes more sense and the remaining power is what little can be left.

What's up with the alternative dimension for the fight? They just fought in the fucking hall.

What happened to Rias asking Ise if he wanted her virginity that much and him proudly declaring he did?

Messed up the badass moment where he completely stares down Rizer's sister and forces her to make a path for him so he can claim Rias on his own effort. No he instead just makes her blush, and then gets completely assisted in getting her back. Lame.

Nerfed the scene on the griffon with his arm to make it less manly.

AND WHY GOD DID THEY NOT DO THE SCENE WHERE SHE MOVES IN PROPERLY?

No, instead we get flashbacked without any real audio and she just calmly says she is moving in.

It would have been so much of a fucking better ending if they had that scene finish it off properly. My little Aisa talking about polygamy being the only option. Rias declaring she was going to wash Ise's back and Aisa not wanting to be left out.

And MY FUCKING GOD THE FLASHBACKS! Seriously, 5 minutes of the show was useless flashbacks from the previous freaken episode. Completely ruined the atmosphere.

There was very little of this episode that I felt worked. Even if I had not read the novels this episode would have still been a horrible disappointment.

While I would like to see more anime of DxD. I would only want it if this retarded studio wasn't the one behind it.

Honestly, I'm happy with the fact they didn't make up their own ending, like 80% of studios would do.

Just watched episodes 11, the special and 12.

I haven't read the light novels so I couldn't give a shit.
I fucking loved this anime and I hope another season comes out.

It was merely a perverse, hot-blooded, shounen battle series, but it was fairly enjoyable while it lasted.

series like this only get 12 eps while Qwaser 24 + 2nd season, why?

Only saw 2 eps of Seikon before dropping it but it had fairly good animation. And it had also more oppai to offer. Not sure how the story fairs though.

Well story-wise, its meh-good. Seikon has a good story too (the manga was good) but it gets too much fanservices that's why people drop it... I did drop too the Seikon S2... but DxD cant avoid the fanservice because the protagonist is Tomoki-perverted type... well this is just subjective lol...

Series was nice, could have been a better story line, I'm hoping a manga will continue it onward, or it will at least get another season someday (highly doubt). The entire time i was talking to god and satan like:
