They captured her perfectly, all those faces and her tired expression too.

I won't lie. It looks very cheap and low budget. But I still have hopes for it. The manga looks cheap and low-budget as well, but that didn't stop us from loving it, did it now? It's the characters, man, the CHARACTERS!

Its pretty cool to see this finally animated, Episode 1 was pretty good, the voice for Tomoko was perfect, and the faces she made were just as good as in the manga, definitely cant wait until next week.

I loved everything except for the opening.(I know what they were going for, but I can't help not liking it)
And yeah, it seemed like they didn't have a big budget for this, but it still turned out great. If I had the money I'd buy some BD or DVD's to help out sells.

Watched episode 1, and then marathon'ed the manga to the latest chapter...but I just can't like this wholeheartedly as I used to do with any other animes/mangas as bad as they are.
I understand the appeal of the ugly girl doing things, but the lack of actual character development and the will of the character to actually develop is the one obstacle that's preventing from liking it.

Wow, dat OP.
Never read the manga, but saw quite a bit of hype for this one. Wasn't a bad first episode, kinda funny actually. The ED's good as well.
