I was half entertained throughout the episode. The voice actress did a fine job though.
As expected, the manga was alright just like this episode.
Dropped. Tomoko is too pathetic. She shows no development.

Watched episode 1, and then marathon'ed the manga to the latest chapter...but I just can't like this wholeheartedly as I used to do with any other animes/mangas as bad as they are.I understand the appeal of the ugly girl doing things, but the lack of actual character development and the will of the character to actually develop is the one obstacle that's preventing from liking it.

Watched the first ep and it didn't disappoint. I'm so glad its not 3-12 minutes short.

Poor Tomoko
The faces she makes were some of the best parts of the manga, and the anime doesnt disappoint.
The way they made Yuu look like a moeblob was perfect, and it was nice to see Tomoko happy for a little bit, until Yuu mentioned her boyfriend and the fact that the guy in the art class drew all the faces on his characters the same.
