I see I better watch that episode again cause I can't remember it.
-Edit-
Ahaha!! Now I get why I didn't know who Asai was. I'm watching this anime on Gogoanime.com and on episode 3 I posted on the comments below but instead of watching the video after the page refreshed I end up progressing to the next episode instead. Totally skipping the 3rd one. How foolish.
Spoiler:
P.S: Just asking for other people who is watching this anime - You don't think this will end in a tragedy right? Like some characters we like dying. This is the 1st anime I have watched that has a historical aspect to it. I mostly watch present day settings or future setting animes with no actual historical element in it.

Nobuna is the only one we need to worry, cause from all the characters in the anime, the first one to die was Nobunaga at the Hounnouji Temple.
Katsuie Shibata, Nagahide Niwa, Hanbei Takenaka. Most of them died after that and was under Hideyoshi after he succeeded Nobunaga.
So basiclaly the Honnouji Temple incident is going to be a important plot point, but of course Sagara Yoshiharu won't let them die.

Speaking of important points, If Nobuna does survive Honnouji Temple, where do you think the series would go from there? Do you think it would still include later major events (Battle of Yamazaki, Seige of Odawara Castle), or do you think it'll tangent off at that point?

True he committed seppuku after his small entourage was overwhelmed by the akechi troops and the temple itself was burning to the ground. However in episode 5

Well, as far as I know, the real life Nobunaga's body was never found so there are many directions the author can take for that event.

I thought that was because his body was burned. If he committed seppuku inside the burning temple then it would make sense that no remains of his was found.

True, but then people like to speculate so it's actually no surprise to me if there are people believing in that.
In this case, I would root for Nobuna surviving if the author write about this incident.
