Now that I'm caught up with this series.
Spoiler:
The loli's are awesome as well as their fans. The entire series is great. I like that Saru doesn't have some special ability or anything. He just knows quite a bit of history but is otherwise an average guy from modern Japan.

Relating to episode 6: I almost lost it when Goemon got shot, then did lose it when she sat up like a zombie.

Damn Kai, your girl is scary and damn straight beautiful too.

Looks like Monkey added another loli to his collection in episode 5.

FUKKEN YES. This part was great.

Well, this was an entertaining episode.

Spoiler:

Fate works again. Then again, given what we've seen from Katsuie, I seriously doubted she would pull through with castle-building.

And so Monkey becomes an actual Monkey.

Well Done Son Guy from Mino strikes again...and this time, I was *almost* impressed. Too bad you left actual gunpowder lying around for Nobuna to use.

Castle defense was really neat. I liked how they managed to portray the fact that both Bowmen and Riflemen were used by the Japanese, with bows covering rifles as they reloaded, and actually working to lure in the enemy before firing.

Hanbei knows her stuff.

I was surprised that Goemon was shot. I was more surprised though that a chainmail can stop an arquebus, but I guess since Goemon is a ninja...

And it would be weird if they just started off to kill characters after letting so many people live in-story.

Niwa is babe again. Even more so when she runs Azai's face through mud.

As usual, waiting for more.

I'm in episode 5 right now and I'm just confused

Spoiler:
A character named Asai Nagamasa was introduced but monkey talks to him as if they already know each other..One problem I've never seen him before.

So who is he - a fiance of Oda? Also there's a chance I could have missed it - if so what episode did he appear?

On another note it really surprised me when Hanbei chan can use Shikigamis, I thought this anime didn't have any magic in it so seeing someone use a Shikigami surprised me and not only that she has more than one.

Well, first off, Monkey technically knows everyone from "Nobunaga's Ambition". Nagamasa also appeared in episode 3
Spoiler:
He proposed to Nobuna.

I see I better watch that episode again cause I can't remember it.

-Edit-

Ahaha!! Now I get why I didn't know who Asai was. I'm watching this anime on Gogoanime.com and on episode 3 I posted on the comments below but instead of watching the video after the page refreshed I end up progressing to the next episode instead. Totally skipping the 3rd one. How foolish.
Spoiler:

Also it really surprised me when Hanbei chan can summon Shikigamis, I thought this anime had no magic in it.

P.S: Just asking for other people who is watching this anime - You don't think this will end in a tragedy right? Like some characters we like dying. This is the 1st anime I have watched that has a historical aspect to it. I mostly watch present day settings or future setting animes with no actual historical element in it.

Hush. Dont question it! Just enjoy the show.

Nobuna is the only one we need to worry, cause from all the characters in the anime, the first one to die was Nobunaga at the Hounnouji Temple.
Katsuie Shibata, Nagahide Niwa, Hanbei Takenaka. Most of them died after that and was under Hideyoshi after he succeeded Nobunaga.

So basiclaly the Honnouji Temple incident is going to be a important plot point, but of course Sagara Yoshiharu won't let them die.

Speaking of important points, If Nobuna does survive Honnouji Temple, where do you think the series would go from there? Do you think it would still include later major events (Battle of Yamazaki, Seige of Odawara Castle), or do you think it'll tangent off at that point?

Don't know, but the Light Novels are still ongoing, haven't read them though.

True he committed seppuku after his small entourage was overwhelmed by the akechi troops and the temple itself was burning to the ground. However in episode 5

Spoiler:
When Nobuna gave Yoshiharu the gourd - hideyoshi's symbol. He did have a flashback of a burning temple and said that he won't let it happen and that Nobuna will be the one to conquer japan. So for now I'm hoping that be true.

Well, as far as I know, the real life Nobunaga's body was never found so there are many directions the author can take for that event.

I thought that was because his body was burned. If he committed seppuku inside the burning temple then it would make sense that no remains of his was found.

True, but then people like to speculate so it's actually no surprise to me if there are people believing in that.

In this case, I would root for Nobuna surviving if the author write about this incident.

well it could end as Saru returning to his world sad, goes to school, then being surprised at his new transfer classmates/students...

Spoiler:
Don't worry Nene you will be one of the prettiest girls when you grow up... (just like Rance's hyper weapon still not activating with Kouhime). I still amazed at Yoshiharu's loli attraction aura.
