And I thought McBitch was bad...Wakana was a regular Kirino Kousaka level bitch. I hope this episode wasn't supposed to elect some sympathy out of me, cause it did just the opposite. I hope this little troll stays mopey, and never starts singing with the club. She doesn't deserve it.

Woot! Finally get some German in this anime! It was spoken much more quickly than I would've expected. Not much else to mention except how the dancing at the badminton tourney and Wakana's Mom's piano playing were hilarious.

Isn't that why she broke and now traumatized to never indulge in music ever again? either way the show will pull her back in - it seems inevitable that she returns but the future is still uncertain for that matter.

in other news, are all japs preparing for entrance exams this annoying? i don't remember being this bitchy when i tried for an entrance exam.

Loving the dourama and character development. Now I reaally want to hear wakana sing. The mini-prologues are interesting too. Don't know if all of them are connected or if each one will get a story arc. (which is coolio for me)

This episode made me shed a tear. fuuuu!!

It seems Wakana has finally reached the end of her internal conflict about her mom. I almost cried at the end.

Would anyone like to explain the benefit of that singing technique the guys were using when Wakana walked in? Unless the benefit is the hilarity of seeing them.

I admit I still think Wakana was kind of a bitch back then, but considering she seemed to take a lot of steps(Not being so mopey, singing some, etc.) to being a more likeable character, I don't care anymore. Good of her dad to just put the stuff in storage like that. Good man. And those damn flashbacks with her mom...so glad I'm an emotionless wretch. And yay, fat kitty is alright!

is awesome. The way things all clicked back together is perfect. The flashbacks were also perfect, specially that one where Wakana's mom and dad were walking in a park. The mood at that time was perfect- the music, the voice acting, the part when the dad cried then Wakana's mom cried after. Props to P.A.

Also Wakana isn't mopey anymore, and she's now singing. awesome.

Wien getting massively trolled this episode. Also, nothing like watching a girl awkwardly undressing in front of her father. Cold bitch staredown!

Fuck. I don't usually want a person's dreams to be destroyed, but I'll make an exception in this case.

Well, look at that. A Mini-Vice Principal in the choir club. All she needs is the bad haircut and glasses, and she could pass for her bitchy offspring. Onto the important things. Happy Wakana! Finally. I shall call her Ms. Mopey no more. And Sawa...eating disorders are bad for you, ya know. Dear old dad was kind of a dick, but I can't help but wonder if he's being a dick, cause he knows about stuff like that. And Wien...boy, you dumb. But funny.

As Wakana's story concludes Sawa's begins. The undressing could have gone a lot worse. I never thought Sawa would develop bulimia as a reaction to her dad, she seemed like someone hard-headed enough to prove him wrong by being really really good at mounted archery.

The white rhino was hilarious.

At least Sawa's "I won't sing" moping was contained to one episode. I was gonna blow a fuse if she turned into another early episode Wakana. Anyway, good episode. Wein continues to be my favorite(If this isn't an emergency, I don't know what is!) and singing that weird bit of the cheer up song. And good for Sawa's pops. He's still a jerk, but the good kind. Shame we didn't get to hear them sing for the stage...

Giving a bit of spotlight to Wien. From that reaction at the start of the episode, I'm guessing his little pen pal might have bit the big one. That sucks. But, cool to see him get all serious and whatnot about being "Heroes". His little monologue about being Red was funny. And lucky day, McBitch was too distracted to be her usual, bitchy self. Woo!

This series is very good at bringing you down and then uplifting you. I didn't think it was going to add such sad elements, then when I watched episode 5 I was in tears. Also Wakana's father ended up being awesome which I wasn't expecting, screaming down the phone for Wakana so she could pursue her dream to be a jockey, though it didn't work out. Looking forward to episode 10 to see how this superhero job plays out, and if Wien is going to have some sort of event as well. He's a hilarious and very likeable character, as are the rest of them.

Good episodes. I'll admit that I shed a few man tears when Sawa's dad was screaming in the phone for her. Wien continues to be hilarious and Wakana is still a total babe in my opinion. When she was talking to Sawa's mom I wanted a yuri scene to happen so badly. Time to go to gelbooru and see what they have on this show.

Oh joy, the "She's not that much of a bitch" episode. Those are always a giggle. If you couldn't tell, I'm being sarcastic. She's still a Grade-A bitch, and this episode did nothing to change my opinion on her. Hell, trying to backtrack like she did on the part time job approval proves she's still McBitch. The only saving grace was that market show, and the (Oddly awesome) singing of the Ganbaranger theme song. That was pretty boss.

Lol, Wien is my hero. That episode was great. They practically sing the thief into submission.

This episode was just awesome, especially the end part. I was laughing so much when Wien started singing the theme song to that show, it was amazing. Then when they all started singing it was just epic. The part with Wakana's mum in the hospital was sad when she said it she's glad she could see Naoko one last time and that it looks like she won't make it.
