Red Shopping Ranger kicks ass, hero switch activated. I get the feeling the Vice Principal hasn't even mourned the loss of her friend and Sakai's mom. Nao may have just been working on the choral club as a distraction this whole time and hiding everything related to Sakai's mom.

Yeah, I figured the school was getting shut down. Damn shame they had to cancel the festival thing. All that's left next week is for them to go out on a high note, by singing Sawa's song.

Son of a...just play the damn song already! Gotta wait another week to hear the damn thing. It better be good too. Anyhow, another attempt to make McBitch look less bitchy, and again, doesn't change my opinion of her in the slightest. Bitch. Also, someone seriously needs to smack the bitch out of her little sycophant in the choir club. I was hoping Konatsu would, but no, she had to be nice. And Chairman is a dickhead. That's all I got.

So everything is set, whether or not anyone shows up we'll see. I'm looking forward to finally hearing them sing the song in the next episode.

Poor Taichi. He can hardly do anything by himself outside of badminton and he gets teased by the girls. At least he's smart enough to keep the good picture for himself, even if it's a little creepy. Good job on Wien for breaking up the sudden start of the Blame Game after the props he created were junked.

"I'm the bitch who did nothing but criticize and hamper you for twelve episodes. Can I conduct?"
"Sure, we'd love that."

Ugh. As if that brain lapse wasn't bad enough, the big song I've been waiting for was astoundingly meh. Rest of the episode is a typical "Graduate from high school" deal, complete with the token "I'm going abroad" student. Like everything else, it was amazingly average.

The ending was sooooooooooo good. Their song was well worth the wait. I absolutely loved this series, I'm fucking sad that it's over... Sucks to be those people who haven't watched it.

All the music in this anime was great, I've got it stuck in my head. All the characters were great. I have nothing bad to say about this series, it couldn't have been any better. I want a season 2 but it ended perfectly, I don't think they'd do a second season because there isn't really anything else they could do.

It's impressive that the the first blu-ray volume of this anime was the top selling anime blu-ray 2 weeks ago:

I'm really glad everything worked out with the culture festival. The entire series up until now has been a string of disappointments so its great something went their way. I fear the principal and vice-principal have lost their jobs though.

I got teary eyed a number of times in this episode. Too bad we didn't know where Sawa went other than "abroad". Guessing its the US though.

This series was pretty good.

The thing I most liked about the ending, is that technology was actually involved. The three old guys listening to the song on their music player, and Sawa watching a video of the other graduating. Granted, it wasn't a video chat or anything, but it is nice to have these "good-byes" tempered with the realization that with technology you can still see and talk to your friends just fine. Unless you're Wien. Also, respect goes out to the studio for NOT forcing Taichi into making an awkwardly-placed, full-blown confession.
