[Anime] The World God Only Knows Season 3 announced

2013's combined 2nd/3rd issue of Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine is announcing on Wednesday that production on a third anime season of The World God Only Knows (Kami Nomi zo Shiru Sekai) has been green-lit. Production on a spinoff original video anime about the idol character Kanon has also been green-lit. Both projects are inspired by Tamiki Wakaki's The World God Only Knows manga series.

The manga already inspired two television anime seasons, a prologue original anime DVD, and additional original video anime DVDs. Crunchyroll streamed both television seasons into several countries as they aired in Japan, and Sentai Filmworks licensed both seasons for North America.

I just finished watching the first two seasons, so was really happy when I read up on the 3rd season being green-lit.

So, is this gonna be a Spring anime, a Summer anime, or what? Or has that not been announced yet?

Haven't read anything about its air date, I guess we'll have to wait for further announcements about it. So far its just that they're making it, as far as I know anyway.

Oh hey, I'm actually watching season 1 of this right now, its pretty awesome, I love Elcie. Guess i gotta make sure i finish before season 3 starts.

YES!!! Also judging from the Manga Its possible it could get a 4th Season well depending how they approach Season 3 that is but its only specualtion just got to wait and see :)

I'm going to have to watch the first 2 seasons again, the only episode I remember is the librarian girl, the HNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNG-inducingly cute one.

so is it gonna head into the vintage arc stuff or original or?... need to rewatch 1 & 2 to find out where it left off...-.- so much to do, so little time...

Wow this just got me really excited, I've been following the manga ever since season 2 ended, so I was pretty much expecting a season 3.

Finished both seasons a while back and I've been up to date with the manga. Considering how well the first two seasons did in following the manga, I'm excited to see where they go with the third one.

Really hoping they do Tsukyio's arc (they kind of have to) but the anime chronology is a little messed up what with the Tenri Hen OVA's being released (Tenri's arc comes a bit after Tsukyio's which is directly after Jun's arc which is where the 2nd season left off) but yeah the my anticipation is huge.[/font][/color][/h]
