[Anime] GIRLS und PANZER!

Lots of CG to be expected to seems. The tanks looked good, and funny in pink. Commie's subs had some German in it, nice touch. The living on an aircraft carrier was a big surprise.

I don't mind the CG as long as it's accurate and allows for more tank-service.
That funny-looking pink tank was the first tank we in the US ever set to mass production. Looking like a true ironclad landship, the M-3 Lee. :3

Moe with a dash of epic. I liked it and what luck! I had bratwurst mit sauerkraut on a bun for dinner tonight. Awesome day is awesome!

That anglerfish dance at the end, also I didnt expect Hana's mother to have such a hatred of tanks, the fight scene was pretty good too

Aside from some missed shots at close range and losing the English so easily at that intersection, it was a really good tank battle. That doubling-back to down the fourth tank was just brilliant! The scenery during the whole event looked pretty good as well.

That was a hell of a battle. Great strategy in commanding, and even better driving. Class Pres just wanted to do the dance for fun.

So... Busou Shinki had a Planet of the Apes reference and this series has a Kelly's Heroes reference? (That's a pretty big coincidence or a terrible mispronunciation if not.) The hell is going on Japan?

Cell phones > Radio communications

Anyway, a good start to the battle, but I wonder... how long is this anime going to be if we're nearly halfway done and we're not even finished with the first match in a tournament?

I was like that cheating sod for the person in charge of communications for Saunders, looks like the the Saunders commander doesn't know about it as well. I have to say using the Cell Phones and using the normal radio communicators to set the Saunders group up was very clever.

I think what may happen is, we will end up seeing an episode showing brief shots of some battles in between this current battle and a grand final/showdown or something along those lines for as you said, it's like half way through the anime now...

So far how this anime has gone, could a 2nd season be possible. I think saying this is looking too far ahead but I guess it could depend on the pace of this anime. Not sure.

EDIT: Did I get Saunders mixed up with another name, not very good with keeping track of the names but the nations instead xD

Like ZeroOBK said, it doesnt look like the commander of the enemy team knew that they were using a balloon to intercept radio signals so it will be interesting to see how it plays out in the next episode, also loved the way they portrayed the americans in this episode.

Why has nobody mentioned the tank-cakes. TANK. CAKES. They're clever and delicious.

SAUNDERS:
During Akiyama's (fav character) spy-mission, (which was adorable) she noted, "They're really imitating America." That must be a poor translation.

Unless Saunders is actually filled with Japanese schoolgirls that're weaboo for 'Murca due to a generous sponsorship. Shh... it doesn't matter how far fetched it is. It's too sweet.

THE ARMOR:
It's good that there's 10 Shermans in the battle. They're so dinky. At least a Sherman could give the ancient Type-89 a run for its money. Type-89's barely even in the same generation as the others.

Glad they ditched the pretty colors. I want my StuG pure.

RADIO INTERCEPTION INTRIGUE:
I'm against OBK's theory. I suspect the Saunders commander knows about the radio interception. When she asked her radio-operator how she knew the enemy's movements, it was with a grin and and a wink, holding back laughter. I don't think this was her merely being an anime American.

They went to the trouble of showing her as friendly. I suspect it was to paint Americans as tricky opponents.

Im glad there was a recap episode, they introduced a lot of the characters fast and I wasnt able to catch everything about them, we also got to see the anglerfish dance again.

Anglerfish dance is the best dance :D

You also have the best signature, got to love them chibi tank crews :)
