So I heard about this anime and thought "meh, it'll bomb", then a friend of mine made me try World of Tanks and said "go watch Girls und Panzer, it'll motivate you". I did so, and, well... 10/10 for me too. Been months since I watched a happy, non-grimdark or non-angsty anime, and this was really worth watching.

Great finale, although everything with the Maus was kinda gimmicky. Girls Und Panzer is by no means the first to ignore the rules of physics to help up the ante and tension in such scenes, but I have my doubts that the Hetzer could have supported that immense weight, and let's not mention how insanely fast the nearly 200-ton beast was cruising at (the main reason why it was never used was the lack of an engine powerful enough to move the damn thing beyond a crawl).
Overall a fantastic show. Cute girls with any sort of military equipment is a win in my book, especially when they use actual stuff and display sound tactics (action movie style antics excepting).
Not getting my hopes up, but I'd really love to see another season or three of this.

I just finished watching all 12 episodes. Damn, I enjoyed this anime a lot more than a thought I would. The premise seemed kind of ridiculous at first but it actually worked out nicely. Fantastic anime overall. Time to go watch the OVAs now. I could go for a season 2.

I could go for a season 2.There is supposed to be another OVA coming out, I hope they cover the battle with Italy that they shoved into the last 2 minutes of one of the episodes.
