Got Megane?
Wow where to begin.
For starters I love Yui Haga's art work, just so adorable, I'd make a nosebleed thread if I could but it'd have to be removed due to all the loli it would have.
Another thing is the fact the here we have Rie Kugimiya and Yukari Tamura (2 of my all time fav seiyuus) as well as Yui Horie and Rina Satou(who I also place up there at the top).
I've been looking forward to this series for a while.

I'm probably watching this along with Aria, who is also voiced by Rie. She was great at voicing Nagi And Louise and Shana and Taiga and Yuuhi and Agnese, etc., but I would kinda like to hear someone else voice lolis once in a while...

If I am not wrong, Kugimiya Rie will be voicing the main female protagonist for "Aria", which will be screened during the Spring season of 2011 too. I wonder which of her two titles will be more popular among fans? :D

So I have a feeling this one may be the more popular. Though who knows.

All I know is that it's somewhat of a semi-not-reverse-loli-yuri-harem anime. If that made any sense.
In any case, I'm turning into a lolicon and watching both Aria and Lotte.

actually there is very little harem, this isn't quite a spoiler, but they mention how she has to have a harem often, yet there is only Naoya. So unless they deviate from the manga(unless its the parts not translated, last one was ch.16) there will essentially be very little 'harem' in this.
Yeah definitely a series for lolicons to watch.

You guys had me at Rie Kugimiya so this is a definite watch for me. Other than that, the art does look pleasing; just hoping it matches the animation sequences. However, I believe they are in good hands with Diomedea (same studio that animated Ika-musume and Sola). For some odd reason I don't remember reading the manga, but the plot does sound familiar. Oh, well...
Lol, we are on the same wavelength.

[font=Courier New]All should read the less than appealing reception that ANN is giving this title. It's quite amusing.

Hoping they won't go over the top with the ecchi enjoyed the manga for the humor/hints of harem? maybe

My excitement over another production by the same studio behind Ika Musume was met with uncertainty after learning that “Lotte’s Toy” follows 10-year-old succubus princess, Astarotte Ygvar (Kugimiya Rie), and the creation of her harem as part of her coming to age. As a succubus, she needs to consume the semen of men to survive, so she’s pressured by her head of staff Judit Snorrevik (Nabatame Hitomi) to start gathering men. Disgusted, Astarotte tries to get out of it by saying her first harem candidate has to be human, under the assumption that the Yddrasil Tree linking their world of Alfheimr to Midgard (Earth) has lost its powers. However, Judit soon returns with 23-year-old Touhara Naoya (Satou Rina) to get things going.

I actually went into this expecting something completely perverted an fanservice driven, so I was actually plesantly surprised when this show turned out to be a lot less perverted than I had imagined, and is actually a very nice lighthearted Romantic comedy with a creative sestup.
The first thing that reminded me of this anime after I finished the first episode is Zero no Tsukaima. Man moving to a new fantasy country to serve an aristocrat, female tsundere lead voiced by Kugimiya Rie. You get the idea. I'm actually liking this setup more than Zero no Tsukaima, possibly due to the...less annoying characters, I guess? I've never been a fan of Louise.
Am I the only guy who thinks the male lead doesn't look like a 23 year old though...?

Better than expected for the same reasons that you said. I'm also surprised that I haven't had the urge to rip out my ears after watching the first episode and listening to Rie's voice to close to half an hour, which is another bonus.
Though, given the end of the episode (does anyone else recall BAKA INUUUUUUU?), I have a sinking feeling this is going to develop Lotte's somewhat quirky character into Generic Tsundere #4. Replete with the whole overwhelming fan-service package, of course.

So, watched the first ep. Yeah, there's some loli fanservice, especially in the bath scene while describing the whole "life seed" thing, but the show is more "cute" than "pervy" overall, IMO.
Rie Kugimiya fits the role of Lotte better than I expected. Better than she fit Shana, I think.

The guy brought back through the tree kinda looked sort of like a girl in a suit at first.

Guess I'll also follow this show for the season...

YEah, I'm kinda bored with Rie's voice, since she voices the "bitchy Loli" type too often.
I just hope that Yukari Tamura, and Yui Horie will have an adequate amount of screen time too.
